This is not a BLCD but we have Yusa Kouji 遊佐浩二 voicing a cat which got into an accident and is nursed back to health by an office lady who lives alone. His name is Kotaro 小太郎 and he is a special pet who has the ability to transform into human-form or cat-form as he likes. He is naked when he transforms into his human form (add a sweat drop as described in the official site lol~)
If you’re interested in a BLCD that has cats transforming into humans, check out my Sentimental Garden Lover review. If not, read on for more information about I LOVE PET!! lol~
Not a very creative premise to be honest but it’s Yucchi we’re talking about… so I can forgive that. We can expect the potential for many teasing situations and sexual tension… especially when this is a tsundere and ijiwaru-type (teasing personality) Sharp-tongued but is actually gentle at heart. 毒舌だが、本当は優しい心の持ち主。ツンデレ。Yucchi is PERFECT cast lol~
I listened to the demo track that is just released on the official site. He is talking about getting into the bath with you in his human form.[audio:http://www.lalap.space/wp-content/uploads/media/ilovepet_kotaro.mp3]
Kotaro: Can you not be so shocked about it? Have you forgotten? We got into the bath together just a while back. Whether I’m in my cat form or human form, I’m the same inside. What’s the problem with us taking a shower together, right? Look! My ears and tail are still here! Don’t tell me you’re embarrassed? *laughs* Why, there’s no need to be embarrassed, is there?
Sounds like it’s going to be a fun CD to listen to :3 I hope this is not the best track of the whole CD just to trick us into buying it OTL;;;
Anyway, Yucchi is voicing a cat of the Korat breed. CD jacket illustrated by 相葉キョウコ. I love how the illustrator incorporated all the cat’s physical elements as well as its heritage into the final result. Look at the Thai-traditional dress inspired low-waist pants/wrap :D Lovely.
Korat according to Wikipedia:
Korats are a slate blue-grey shorthair domestic cat with a small to medium build and a low percentage of body fat. Their bodies are semi-cobby, and surprisingly heavy for their size.
They are intelligent, playful, active cats and form strong bonds with people.
Among Korats’ distinguishing characteristics are their heart-shaped heads and large green eyes. They are one of a few breeds where individuals have only one color (some are yellow-green, rather than blue-grey).
The Korat is one of the oldest stable cat breeds. Originating in Thailand, it is named after the Nakhon Ratchasima province (typically called “Korat” by the Thai people). In Thailand it is known as Si-Sawat, meaning “Color of the Sawat Seed”.
They are known colloquially as the “Good Luck Cat” and are given in pairs to newlyweds or to people who are highly esteemed, for good luck. Until recently, Korats were not sold, but only given as gifts.
The CD will be released during Comiket 79 and subsequently available from stores later. I’m quite looking forward to it!
Actually, there’s a I LOVE PET!! vol. 1 where Ono Daisuke 小野大輔 voiced a dog (Breed: Collie)! :D It was sold during Comiket 78 in August 2010. I didn’t know about it until I found out about this one of the cat.[audio:http://www.lalap.space/wp-content/uploads/media/ilovepet_ash.mp3]
Are you a cat or dog person? I find both cute but I’m more of a cat person myself ^^ Have you listened to the dog CD? What do you think of it? There’s also a page for it.

But generally, I’ve read that it is advisable to buy the event catalogue so that you can plan beforehand how to get the most out of the event because there’ll be queuing and queuing and more queuing. The event catalogue (2,400 Yen) is available from Animate Japan.
Also, if you have friends to go with you, you can split your routes so that you can cover more areas and have a higher chance of securing the items you want to buy. Since it is winter, you should also bring warm clothing and wear them in layers because it is cold outside but can be warm inside the venue. Wearing them in layers means you can easily remove or put them on when required.
