Description: One-coin drama cd collection of love romance of young men. Stories revolve around the protagonist, a 17-year-old, 2nd year high school student and the various guys he meets.

Good news for fans of Lucky Dog 1‘s Gulio cos the protagonist is voiced by the same seiyuu, Iguchi Yuuichi (井口祐一) I could be wrong but this is probably his first non-Tennenouji BL character? Other cast includes: Terashima Takuma (寺島拓篤), Mizushima Takahiro (水島大宙), Hino Satoshi (日野聡), Maeno Tomoaki (前野智昭) and Narita Ken (成田剣).

It feels very much like a high school student BL game setting. The pairing types include the childhood friend, classmate, junior, senior and mysterious older man (voiced by Narita Ken! Hentai-alert? lol~ His voice sample went along the line of: “Don’t be angry. I’m not going to do bad things you. I just wanted to cherish you, that’s all.” Yeah right… lol~) You’ll definitely be able to find what you like. But… surprisingly no megane sensei… (teacher/school doctor in glasses) Why? lol~ it’s probably good to try to break away from the expected.

Anyway, the trading CD concept is hype but possibly irresistible bait for collector freaks lol~ Seems like fun tho. I think it’ll probably be cute if it was an anime cos the character setting/design looks good! But notice the typical everybody is taller than the uke stereotype OTL. Oh well… The voice cast generally have a good BL track record, so let’s see how it goes. But to be honest, to me, all of them are uke types, except for Maeno Tomoaki and Narita Ken. However, they’re definitely well cast since this is a high school setting. You can listen to the voice demos that are up at the official website.

Shimizu Yuu 清水優 (Iguchi Yuuichi 井口祐一)
Age: 17/Height: 171cm/Birthday: July 14 (Cancer)/Blood Type: A
Class A, 2nd year student at Yuuzutsu High School夕星(ゆうづつ)学院高等学校
He fell sick and was absent on the first day of school. Thanks to his friends’ recommendation (or sabotage lol), he was voted as the class representative during his absence. His parents are often away for overseas business trips, so he is responsible for taking care of his younger sister. He cooks and does the housework. His dream is to become a businessman in the future and is a very realistic person. He thinks he is just an average, ordinary guy but recently he seems to be surrounded by colourful personalities and individuals.

Nowake Mamoru 野分護 (Terashima Takuma 寺島拓篤)
Age: 17/Height: 173cm/Birthday: September 6 (Virgo)/Blood Type: B
Class C, 2nd year student at Yuuzutsu High School.
Yuu’s neighbour and childhood friend. They were friends and in the same school since kindergarten and known each other for a very long time. He is proud to be Yuu’s number one best friend. They were in the same soccer team since primary school. He is still in the soccer team at high school now but is currently taking a break. His prioritises going home together with Yuu. Recently, he feels an unexplained anxiety about the people appearing around Yuu.

Watanuki Shou 綿貫翔 (Mizushima Takahiro 水島大宙)
Age: 17/Height: 176cm/Birthday: December 11 (Sagittarius)/Blood Type: AB
Class A, 2nd year student at Yuuzutsu High School.
Shimizu Yuu’s classmate. Good in studies. He has graceful looks and a calm demeanor. He is very popular among both boys and girls. His popularity extends to even other schools and is a well-known name. Although he is said to be from a wealthy family and is like a prince, he yearns to be a normal high school student as his family background is complicated. His acquaintance with Yuu began when they were sat next to each other in class.

Nakazato Wakaba 中里若葉 (Hino Satoshi 日野聡)
Age: 16/Height: 180cm/Birthday: May 5 (Taurus)/Blood Type: O
Class B, 1st year student at Yuuzutsu High School.
Nakazato Aoi’s younger brother. He has a scary look but he is actually a good guy with a strong physique. His appearance makes him stand out among the top student types in school. He is strong and can’t help standing up for the weaker ones. First encountered Yuu at the back of the gym and had an impression of him since then.

Nakazato Aoi 中里葵 (Maeno Tomoaki 前野智昭)
Age: 18/Height: 186cm/Birthday: June 20 (Gemini)/Blood Type: A
Class D, 3rd year student at Yuuzutsu High School.
Nakazato Wakaba’s older brother. Captain of Kendo Club. Strong contender and Kendo champion of inter-high school from 2 years in a row. Expectations are high for him as he is the favourite to win this year. Has good leadership abilities and excellent results in his studies. He is also a reliable young man, trusted by the teachers and adored by his juniors. He comes from a distinguished family of bureaucrats and dreams of becoming a top bureaucrat in the police department. Seems to have met Yuu only once but somehow their relationship is..

Tachibana Mutsuki 立花睦月(Narita Ken 成田剣)
Age: 32/Height: 185cm/Birthday: February 4 (Aquarius)/Blood Type: AB
Mysterious man who appeared suddenly before Shimizu Yuu.
For some unknown reason, he seems interested in Yuu, an ordinary high school student and wants to protect him at all costs. He is actually a successful young businessman who went to the States alone and started his company after graduating from university. He is also well-known in the industry for his shrewdness and cruelty when it comes to business. However, he is surprisingly gentle towards Yuu and very different from his usual persona. Seems to have a very mature adult demeanor.

Comments: Can’t really comment on how good it is yet since it hasn’t been released. Stereotypes galore but I think it doesn’t matter if done well :) There’s a girl’s (otome) version that was released in July 2010 and all sold out already ^^;; That good? I wonder but the cast sure is attractive for that series, including some of the most popular seiyuus, namely: Namikawa Daisuke (浪川大輔), Miyano Mamoru (宮野真守), Okamoto Nobuhiko (岡本信彦), Ishida Akira (石田彰) and Toriumi Kousuke (鳥海浩輔). The girl character isn’t voiced in this series cos the listener is supposed to be the girl :D So it probably means that in the BL boyfriend series, we’ll get some sort of 15+ H-scenes lol~

  1. I’m confused, is this an anime where we can watch or do I have to buy the cd? Or is this manga? I’m sorry I googled everywhere and I still can’t find anything about it besides this website.

  2. Ahahaha. You just reminded me of that pile of My Kare CDs sitting… in my room somewhere waiting to be ripped and listened to. XD; I wasn’t really interested in it to begin with, but the art got to me. orz

    1. @sigma: yep and he sounds pretty good in the demo sample ^^ quite different from Gulio tho’ He should be quite popular because he was voted to host the drama cd’s radio show.

Hahaha indeed XD instead of a megane sensei, we have a seemingly evil mentor that appeared out of nowhere. Which is quite refreshing.

@Luvi: Woah you bought them! Good for you!! They’re like sold out at both movic and animate already. Not sold anywhere else, right? The art does look good!

  3. This series looks very interesting.
    Iguchi Yuuichi has finally got noticed! I’d so love to hear his acting in here! ;v;
I’m honestly glad there is no megane/teacher/other cliche stereo types. in this series it’s is done to much like crazy.
