Anime: Natsume Yuujin Chou (Kamiya Hiroshi, Inoue Kazuhiko)
I usually enjoy stories that have themes and settings on folklore and the supernatural. There’s a new anime series Natsume Yuujin Chou (Natsume’s Book of Friends) 夏目友人帳 that has started airing recently. Adapted from manga by Midorikawa Yuki 緑川ゆき, the series is slated for 13 episodes. It stars Kamiya Hiroshi (Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Gundam 00) as the lead and Inoue Kazuhiko (Junjou Romantica, Kyou Kara Maoh) as a spirit cat.

Summary & Comments:
Natsume Takashi (Kamiya Hiroshi) has the ability to see spirits. He has learned to keep it a secret from the people around him as they refuse to believe what they cannot see. Having lost his parents at a young age, he shuffles from relative to relative. He moves into a town where his deceased grandmother, Reiko had spent her childhood and finds himself pursued by seemingly malicious spirits. One fateful day, Natsume accidentally releases a spirit in the form of a cat who pointed him to a strange book that belonged to his grandmother. The book contains the names of many spirits whom Reiko defeated. It is said that the owner of the book wields absolute power over the spirits whose names are written in the book as a form of contract. Having known the reason why these spirits are after him, Natsume is now determined to free the spirits from their bonds. With the help of the spirit cat (Inoue Kazuhiko), the journey of discovery begins.

This is one yummy, sexy action figure from Medicom’s Real Action Heroes (RAH) series, released in 2006. Night Head Genesis ナイトヘッドジェネシス, Kirihara Naoto 霧原直人 ^^ The character was designed by mangaka You Higuri-sensei 氷栗優 who was also responsible for the character designs in BL game and anime, Gakuen Heaven 学園ヘヴン.
Naoto has good joint articulation, lovely face sculpt and well-made outfit. I love the shoes! All the clothes can be removed. And erm… he wears a pair of socks but NO UNDERWEAR!!! *sweat drop* Yeah yeah… I know Naoto is probably concerned about visible panty ahem~ bikini brief lines under those skinny jeans? Lol~ The figure comes with an extra pair of hands in fist pose.

BL Game: PS2 Saint Beast - Rasen no Shou
An impulse buy… cos the “limited-time offer” was too great to resist x_x
Released in Sep 20, 2007, the limited edition Saint Beast Rasen no Shou (セイント・ビースト 螺旋の章) game’s original price is 7800 Yen but it is now on sale at US$ 24.90! That’s like approximately 2700 Yen meaning it is 5100 Yen off the retail price o_O Since they offer free shipping to my region, I bought it. ^^”
For the uninitiated, Saint Beast is based on a fantasy series created by Arisugawa Kei. It is a spin-off of the series Angel Tales in a world where gods, guardian angels and animal spirits exist. (more…)
BLCD: Abunai Shiawase Chou Bangaihen (Shiozawa Kaneto x Morikawa Toshiyuki)

Abunai Shiawase Chou Bangaihen is a Doujin BLCD featuring the characters from Abunai Series (危ないシリーズ) and Sakurazawa Gakuen Seibutsubu Series (桜沢学園生物部シリーズ), novels written by author Ikaruga Sahara 斑鳩サハラ. This CD was illustrated by Hayasaka Shizuka 早坂静.
The first part of the CD features characters from Abunai series and parodied fairy tales such as Puss in Boots, Little Red Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White, just to name a few. They placed the various characters into these fairy tale scenarios, and based on their personalities, the results of their interactions are hilarious! Even if you haven’t listened to the other related CDs, you’ll also be able to enjoy the comedy. But if you did, you’ll understand this CD better and it is even funnier. What I like most about this CD is that the seiyuus seem to be having so much fun doing it X3 And the *beeep beeep* censor sounds added to the riotous fun.
The second part features characters from Sakurazawa Gakuen Seibutsubu Series. The side story has one of the hottest H scenes I’ve ever heard but it is very disturbing due to the controversial brother x brother pairing ^^” Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
The seiyuu talk was also very funny ^^
