Araragi Koyomi 阿良々木暦 is a character from one of my favourite anime series, Bakemonogatari 化物語 in 2010 :D He is also voiced by one of my favourite seiyuus Kamiya Hiroshi 神谷 浩史 too. After months of previews of his figma prototype in fairs and events, he is finally available for preorder! Instant GET.

Bakemonogatari (化物語, “ghostory,” a portmanteau of bakemono (化物, ghost or monster) and monogatari (物語, story)) is a Japanese light novel series written by Japanese novelist Nishio Isin and illustrated by Taiwanese illustrator Vofan; the series is published by Kodansha under the Kodansha Box imprint. The story centers on Araragi Koyomi 阿良々木暦, a third year high school student who has recently survived a vampire attack, and finds himself mixed up with all kinds of apparitions; gods, ghosts, mythological beasts, and spirits. An anime adaptation by Shaft started airing on July 3, 2009 and went through a total of 15 episodes. The prequel novel, Kizumonogatari was recently announced as being green-lit for anime production. And thanks to these shots and those extra parts included, I think I may have to buy Figma Senjougahara Hitagi 戦場ヶ原 ひたぎ after all OTL. I’ve been resisting it and will still try to :-\ She’ll be available earlier in April which is a killer month due to all the boy figures, games and goods being released during the same period.

These accessories come with Figma Shizuno Izumi (志津野 泉) from an 18+ eroge (H-game) called Sekirara se・きらら. I’m not sure if I want to get this but that vacuum cleaner looks like something we can use if we had a Figma Misaki (Junjou Romantica) As for the cake, I already have LOTS of Rement cake and pastries =_=;;; what a let down. The pillow is so-so too. Nothing to shout about. I won’t be getting this girl cos I just remembered that I have a Rement vacuum cleaner already ^^

The character has a pretty face though. Nice breasts too :D

These accessories come with Figma Akiyama Nozomi (秋山望美) from an 18+ eroge (H-game) called Sekirara. Once again, if not for the accessories, I probably won’t buy this figure.

The rubber ducky is cute and lol~ bra… this is cos the character in question is a loli who is only 138cm tall, petite and has small breasts ^^ Now we need a bath tub included with a figma next time so that we can use it for Sweet Pool or something XD

The character’s face is very cute too :) I like her green hair! Reminds me of Minami Iwasaki from Lucky Star… also a mint-green haired girl… who also has a small breasts complex! Hey… is it an unspoken stereotype that green-haired characters have small breasts? ^^;;;

Temporarily sold-out. Like wow. Preorder was just announced a few hours ago. Lol~ I wonder if figmas of BL characters (IF they are ever released) will generate that kind of demand.

Natsume is finally made into a lovely bishonen figure!

Saw an update of upcoming figures and stumbled upon this pic of a very beautiful statue of Natsume and Nyanko-sensei sculpted from the official artwork of Natsume Yuujin Chou 夏目友人帳 by Alter.

This will probably thrill bishonen statue collectors. I’m tempted too. The entire sculpt and his facial expression is near perfect replica from the original artwork. Nothing to complain about Nyako-sensei. Looks grand/cute as ever XD

As a side note, we can also look forward to figma Bakemonogatari characters (I hope ALL of them get a figma! Especially Araragi and come with all his hair pieces expressions lol!) There’s even a Thriller figma Michael Jackson *shock* Oh there are Evangelion figmas coming up too… but the boys are nowhere to be seen. Only the girls in their plug-suits. Well, hopefully they also make the boys too.

Thank goodness for these previews… they help to budget for must-have items ^^;;;

Oh me? Of course I have both girls lol~ ;)

But what’s the fuss about? Well, the girls are characters from Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS anime… which I’m -not- that interested in to be frank. I’ve read about some Yuri (girl x girl) references in this series… and that it doesn’t have much of a storyline. Sell it to me if you think it is a must watch.

I’ll update this post when orders are open. Watch out for it!

I wonder why pre-orders are not open yet. Pre-orders have started (or here) and my goodness she sells out FAST. Apparently there is very limited stock, like Figma Fate.

I’ve resisted getting the Nendroid Miku despite her uber cuteness but this action figure is quite a tempting addition to the Figma series.

What attracted me most to this Figma is her costume… She has -SHINY- boots and skirt and sleeves. Err that’s boots, right? The material looks different from the released figmas so far. Err… or maybe it is just superior lighting that gave it a glossy effect. I don’t know. I find it pretty. I’m strange I know. Oh yea… and the leeks and microphone.

Anyway, when the twins Figmas are available, I will probably get them too. Besides being cute (I feel so shallow ^^’), they have rather nice props like guitar and such ^^

Official release of the Figma twins is in October ^^ but erm… I guess I won’t be buying them unless there’s a sale or I’m feeling rich cos they don’t look as good as Figma Miku from the official pics. Although I like Ren’s keyboard, I won’t want to buy him just for the sake of it.

Hmm… since I’m on the topic of girl figures… there are a few other ones that are on my wishlist.

1. She Predator Machiko 1/6 Scale Figure by Hot Toys
Ok… the detail is fantastic and she just screams sexy and power. Oh if you noticed, she happens to look like Angelina Jolie whom I happen to like :P Damage: US $159.99 (approx 17500 yen)

2. Real Action Heroes Chun Li by Medicom Toy
Erm… I’m not exactly great at fighting games like Street Fighter… in fact, I kinda suck at them XD But this Chun Li figure looks lovely… look at her legs kekeke… Muscular contours ooo~ if there’s any RAH female figure I want to own, it is this one. Death Note’s Misa Misa figure really can’t compare to this babe. Well, from what I can see from the pics anyway. Her face sculpt is also pretty. Damage: 16800 yen. I’ve already ordered her x_x

3. Ryougi Shiki from Kara no Kyokai – the Garden of sinners by Good Smile Company
I haven’t seen the anime but this statue/figure caught my eye when I was surfing figure websites. Very beautiful, especially the intricate detail of her kimono. Damage: 6500 yen. Seriously tempting even for my no-statue figure buying policy x_x (ok… Togainu Shiki and Akira in Military uniform are exceptions.) Very tempted but not priority. Only if I have spare cash (That’ll be a miracle XD) Preorder and bigger pics here.

Anyway, even if I don’t buy the statue, I’m going to be so broke (T_T)

Anyway, I’m really bad at photo-taking o_O so I had to clean up this pic quite a bit. My little camera can’t take very good close-ups either. I think I might want to take up photography seriously to take better pics of Lelouch (and his future pairing with Suzaku) lol~ xD

As a side note, Code Geass season 2 is already showing in Japan. I’m still considering if I should be as crazy as before and collect the DVDs as well… I do have the season 1 R2 DVDs… OMG… ~$~
