Anyway, here’s a quick note about the figures. Apparently, they’re limited edition Code Geass figures that were offered to Newtype magazine readers in 2007 (2007年4月号ニュータイプ限定全員サービス 「ちびボイス猫耳ver．ルルーシュ＆スザク」). I found them on sale at Mandarake Japan and grabbed them for about 2000 Yen (+handling charge w/o shipping) Although they’re not new, they’re in perfect working condition. They’re powered by batteries and feature the voices of Fukuyama Jun (Lelouch) and Sakurai Takahiro (Suzaku).

These boys are my first chibi voice figures. I didn’t collect the rest of the Code Geass voice figures cos there were just too many to buy and if you add them up, seriously expensive.

However, when I saw the neko-mimi on this set of Lelouch and Suzaku, I couldn’t and didn’t want to resist… I love neko-mimi (cat ears)! And I really didn’t expect Lelouch and Sukazu to say something so moe for BL fangirls at all. It was a really pleasant surprise when I pressed their buttons lol~ If you noticed, on the stand, it was written. Newtype Romance! MEGA fan-service and it inspired this not very original manga lol~ (yeah as usual, yaoi cliches, lines stolen from BLCDs and I also repeated their BAKA! GOMEN! lines :3) While taking the photos, I realised how PERFECTLY their paws were placed and how they can be used to fantastic-BL-fangirl-mousou (妄想)-effect.

Oh well, this is definitely one of my BEST impulse buys ever! XD

I don’t remember seeing any pics of Lelouch wearing a checked shirt before but… he looks cute in ‘em, doesn’t he? ( ^///^)

I wanted to save this “special” for the 80,000 page views… I know its  just about a couple of days more but I guess I won’t wait. Anyway, I’ve already missed posting up photo specials since (Naoto x Naoya) 40,000 page views ^^;;; Well, thanks for being here with me! (update: 23/06/09: Thank you for 80k page views ^^)

Lulu’s outfit (shirt, bermudas shorts and shoes) are from Azone International sized for 1/6 dolls. They arrived this morning along with other doll clothes I bought. And I’ve learnt the hard way that size 23 cm doll tops won’t fit him. Too small! (my ~~$$$~~) *cries* But fortunately he could wear 23 cm doll shorts cos he has a really small ass lol~ but they definitely won’t fit other Medicom figures.

As for his bike, I bought it during a short trip to Jakarta last year. Looks pretty neat huh… I’ve been meaning to do something with it for the longest time.

Well, this shot is meant to be taken in front of the old shack that Lulu and Nunnally stayed in where they first met Suzaku as kids (erm yeah, it’s a stockphoto but what the heck…) ^^ If Britannia didn’t invade Japan, the boys would probably grow up together there and taken this shot?

Well, most probably not… in our fantasies I guess.

Are you still in touch with your childhood friends? Social networks like facebook has brought many of us back in contact. Although we made the effort to meet up after that but it only made us realise that all of us are now leading very separate lives. Had Lulu and Suzaku lived in a normal world, would they too have drifted apart like many of us did? It is nostalgic to know that we once shared common experiences and fun/hilarious times together as children and I guess it will always be a treasured memory.

What a beauty with gorgeous detail… I’m seriously tempted (T_T) May break my no-statue rule once again.

to Lalaparadise… Hmm… so Code Geass R2 officially ended. Will there be a Season 3? I’ve stopped chasing after the series after the first season. And now that R2 has ended, I’ll have to find the time to do a back-to-back marathon of both Seasons. It would feel more satisfying, wouldn’t it? :)

Only available at Wonder Festival 2008 [Summer], a one day convention on 3rd August and Goodsmile’s web store for a limited period. BUT knowing how $ economics works, we can expect the mass market version to be available for order soon after that… I – HOPE – ^^” Gaaaah… I must get it somehow (T-T) Price at: 2500 Yen.

The Code Geass Region 1 version packs even more goodies than their Region 2 counterpart. Makes me regret a little about getting the R2 DVDs so soon. I wonder if the R1 Artbox design would be same as R2 Artbox too. R2 Artbox is only available for the First Press editions of Vol. 9 DVD. If it is exactly the same… I’m going to cry (for being such a sucker) lol~

Anyway, the R1 limited edition contains Vols. 1 and 2. It includes Code Geass OST 1, Code Geass Sound Drama 1, and Code Geass manga volume 1 all packed in a Collector’s Artbox.

DVD Features are similar: Picture Drama Episode, Audio Commentary, Textless Opening 1, Code Geass Collector’s Booklet 1, CLAMP Character Sketch Booklet 1, Textless Ending 1, Code Geass Collector’s Booklet II&III.

No pics of the R1 release yet but definitely is something to look forward to.

And talking about Medicom’s ProjectBM! Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion Lelouch Lamperouge…

We’ve been scammed by Medicom I tell you! SCAMMED! Where are all the accessories you promised in the marketing text? Damn it! Lelouch came with only one other set of clasped hands. SIgh.

Other than that MAJOR, UNFORGIVABLE flaw of no accessories at all… everything else about Medicom’s Lelouch were quite nice. He has a cute and well-sculpted face (It is probably too much to ask for but I wish they gave us at least ONE exchangable head where he smiles) Sheesh… *rant*

Lelouch stands at about 30cm tall and comes with a transparent base. He wears his school uniform (made up of a top and a pair of trousers) that has a belt and a pair of black shoes. Yeah, they can be removed… kekeke (but I don’t want to do that to Lelouch… yet… (Lulu: Eh??? o_O) hahaha)

They managed to reproduce him rather nicely from the original design and is quite easy to pose with. I can’t take good close up shots, so… maybe next time. Hopefully they really do better with the accessories bit for ProjectBM! Lelouch Zero R2 that will be released later this year. Well, the photos do look rather promising…

Can we have a Figma Suzaku soon? *evil thoughts* And yeah I want C.C., Kallen and other characters too! It’ll be really nice to have them all… I’m a Suzaku x Lelouch supporter btw…

Anyway, I’m really bad at photo-taking o_O so I had to clean up this pic quite a bit. My little camera can’t take very good close-ups either. I think I might want to take up photography seriously to take better pics of Lelouch (and his future pairing with Suzaku) lol~ xD

As a side note, Code Geass season 2 is already showing in Japan. I’m still considering if I should be as crazy as before and collect the DVDs as well… I do have the season 1 R2 DVDs… OMG… ~$~
