Anyway, here’s a quick note about the figures. Apparently, they’re limited edition Code Geass figures that were offered to Newtype magazine readers in 2007 (2007年4月号ニュータイプ限定全員サービス 「ちびボイス猫耳ver．ルルーシュ＆スザク」). I found them on sale at Mandarake Japan and grabbed them for about 2000 Yen (+handling charge w/o shipping) Although they’re not new, they’re in perfect working condition. They’re powered by batteries and feature the voices of Fukuyama Jun (Lelouch) and Sakurai Takahiro (Suzaku).
These boys are my first chibi voice figures. I didn’t collect the rest of the Code Geass voice figures cos there were just too many to buy and if you add them up, seriously expensive.
However, when I saw the neko-mimi on this set of Lelouch and Suzaku, I couldn’t and didn’t want to resist… I love neko-mimi (cat ears)! And I really didn’t expect Lelouch and Sukazu to say something so moe for BL fangirls at all. It was a really pleasant surprise when I pressed their buttons lol~ If you noticed, on the stand, it was written. Newtype Romance! MEGA fan-service and it inspired this not very original manga lol~ (yeah as usual, yaoi cliches, lines stolen from BLCDs and I also repeated their BAKA! GOMEN! lines :3) While taking the photos, I realised how PERFECTLY their paws were placed and how they can be used to fantastic-BL-fangirl-mousou (妄想)-effect.
Oh well, this is definitely one of my BEST impulse buys ever! XD

Mmm if you’re buying doujinshi, why not try writing to mandarake and ask them for it? Cos they only charge 1 time 500 Yen handling if I’m not wrong. Some items like Japanese games and figures are cheaper to buy even with deputy service charges added, that’s why it is still ok to use them. Especially for rare or out-of-print items ^^

You should be specific and say SAL small packet otherwise normal SAL can be quite expensive too. For this item, I also checked Hobby Search and it can fit into the SAL small packet dimensions, so it should be a cheaper choice than EMS. If it is small but very heavy, EMS can be very expensive *_* I paid about US$40 for shipping three A4 sized magazines (B’s-Log, etc) using EMS cos it was the only shipping option *dies*
I think they charge $5 commission + 10% of the price for per auction item. But if you’re ordering from one store with multiple items, it should be $5 per order + 10% of the items prices. Just email and clarify with them. They’re nice ^^ I think you need to pay them a $50 deposit that can be used to pay for the item and the shipping charges, etc.

I enjoyed Ristorante Paradiso very much. It is an underrated anime. There's drama and believable everyday characters who are interesting yet are people we can probably identify with. This type of anime don't get enough attention or produced often? ^^

yea i just brought up the excel saga because the sister’s seiyuu play a character in that series it reminded me of character. (Excel saga isn’t really a good anime though unless you like the ones without a story to follow an that bashes other animes. I only found out about it because i received one dvd as a gift. Never saw the rest of the series it got to random for me.;;)

Yep, you remember right! There were periods in my life where there was almost no anime ^^;;; I think House of Five Leaves is refreshing and the animation is very fluid! I've been waiting for it since the trailer was released. I didn't know one of the leads was voiced by Sakurai Takahiro when I watched it, so it was added bonus ^^ If I'm not wrong the mangaka, Ono Natsume, also did Ristorante Paradiso :D which I really love too. Do catch it if you have time. His/her style is very distinctive but amazingly, it translated so well to anime! Working!! is quite silly too hehe definitely helps cos some of my favourite seiyuus are in there. Like many people said, it's like watching Izaya from DRRR!! working as a chef lol~

@sigma: icic the one with the extra stuff is a limited or deluxe edition. The cheapest one only comes with the artbook, so probably the normal edition. You see the 15000 Yen price of one of the auctions? That’s the “Buy it now” price. You can take this option if u don’t want to wait. But yeah, you should wait and monitor the final closing prices and do a comparison.

I think figures of these two Code Geass boys are so cute and so much fun to play with… I <3 tsundere Lelouch and tennen Suzaku XD If you listen to the last Code Geass R2 sound episode, Lelouch and Suzaku also kissed~ although they didn't mean to. It was a really hilarious track. That's the closest to an official acknowledgment for their pairing I feel.
