Info from wiki (Beware of SPOILERS!): A resident of Ikebukuro and Mikado Ryugamine’s best friend from childhood. He was the one who encouraged Mikado to come to Ikebukuro. He is enthusiastic about picking-up girls, but he seems to fail at it. He was depressed and lonely before Mikado arrived because his girlfriend was kidnapped and injured during a gang war between the Blue Squares and Yellow Scarves, which he led at the time. After Anri is injured during the Slasher incidents and the rising presence of the Dollars, he is forced to become the leader of the Yellow Scarves once more. He despises Orihara Izaya for manipulating him when he first formed the Yellow Scarves, but returns to him again for information about the leader of the Dollars and discovers it is Mikado. He leaves Ikebukuro with his ex-girlfriend, Saki Mikajima, during the conflict between the 3 main forces in Ikebukuro. Masaomi has commented on not letting Mikado “go to the dark side”, claiming that he has already gone through it. His online chat screenname is “Bakyura” (バキュラ)

The mischievous facial expression on the figure captures Kida’s playfulness very well.

The figure stands at about 6 cm tall. The base is about 1 cm. The figure cannot stand on its own because of the two little “protrusions” under his feet. The two holes on the base are where you insert the figure. You press the button on the left to play his voice. Kida’s seiyuu is Miyano Mamoru 宮野真守.

the novels are a last resort, but i don’t read japanese, which is a problem. my plan is just to buy them and then have them translated somehow….*sigh*

Slaver’s ending wasn’t dramatised, so in the end I also bought the novels for that.
@ponytale – yeah, i recently got into the corsair drama series that’s licensed by cyberphase, and they are on their last CD of the series when they went out of business. so now there’s no ending, and it’s driving me absolutely insane!!

on a random note, do you anything about a BL drama company called cyberphase that apparently went out of business recently?
@iced_wine: ^^ Shizuo’s figure review will be coming out soon! They’re releasing a new set in May 2011 but I’m still considering. This set is a lot more attractive to me because of the voice feature. They really must give us proper scaled figures of Shizaya. These chibis are great but not good enough :3
Yeah :( I read about it. I missed out a few BLCDs that I wanted to get. I hope I can still find them at a reasonable price on auctions or stores.
