Comments:
I didn’t watch this series, so I’m not sure about the story and characters. I read info about them from wiki. But since the clocks are voiced by male seiyuus, I thought I should give them a mention :D I’ll translate when I can find the time. Generally the lines by Archer can be quite moe if oresama types are your kind of thing lol~

Any comments about this anime?

  1. How many clocks are there supposed to be for F/Z?

Gimmee Lancer; he’d totally be perfect for waking up to, considering his character.

Haha, Rider’s chariot call is a way to wake up. That’s certainly a new take on that line in the show.

If Seki is voicing, then I’d definitely be awake. Yessir, Gilgamesh! I’m up at your command! Or if you just command me to sleep in so you can sleep with ME, I’m a-ok with that.

    1. It’s funny how the description of the clock says it’s a “manly voice” clock, LOL. Totally true, though; Seki Tomokazu and Akio Ootsuka’s voices are really manly. Still, I’m currently fangirling over Jouji Nakata’s voice as Kotomine since I’m long-time fan of his voice. Him and Seki together is an old dream come true. ^_^

Yep, I’m a big fan of the Fate series. One of your comments asked which series to watch first. Fate/Zero is a prequel to Fate/Stay Night. You can watch F/Z right away, though I personally found watching F/SN first more rewarding because of backstory. BUT, since F/Z is a prequel, if you’ve watched F/SN first you already get “spoiled” about F/Z’s end so it might be best to watch F/Z first to get the most surprise. I’m watching F/Z now and getting many surprises along the way, but I already have a good idea how the series ends which is kind of a bummer. I think if you have the chance to watch F/Z unspoiled that’d be good.

Do you like knowing what kind of ending a series has before you watch it?

    2. @Fangirl: Thanks for your recommendation! I usually prefer not to have a story spoiled if I can help it :D So it sounds like a good plan to watch F/Z first. I’ll try to make time for it XD

  2. It’s like someone grabbed the best part of every single one of Urobuchi’s works and mashed them together.

It’s beautifully animated, deeply thought-provoking, has wonderful dialogue, awesome characters, kickass fight scenes, great voice acting, tragic characterization, and, seeing as this IS Gen Urobuchi we’re talking about, is cued to end on a heartbreaking, tragic, and wonderfully foreshadowed finale. Then again, I love tragedy, but the anime is wonderful with or without it.

  3. The show is definitely worth watching, were you a fujoshi or not. As a fujoshi I can say that there really are ikemen in the show *coughshippingkirei/gilgameshsohardcough*. I really recommend! Do not miss this show!

Btw, the original light novel was written by none other than Urobuchi Gen and THAT already says something, doesn’t it?
