Detailed summary: (Spoilers galore~ by request)
Christmas is around the corner. Kurahashi Shuuichi 倉橋柊一 (Sakurai Takahiro) and Saeki Takanari 冴木鷹成 (Morikawa Toshiyuki) returns to work after securing the important Stanley Corporation account for Kurahashi Company.
Saeki informs Shuuichi that police investigation about the incident with Yamawaki Shigeru (Narita Ken) has not concluded yet. Although the incident has happened six month ago, he was requested to assist in the police’s reinvestigation. (See Slaver’s Kiss for more information) He will be attending a police meeting the next day with their lawyer, Wakamiya (Horiuchi Kenyuu).
At that time, Shuuichi did not press charges against Yamawaki personally on Saeki’s advice. In the end, Yamawaki was only accused of forging documents and illegal possession of firearms. Saeki explains that although there is a possibility of Yamawaki getting a heavier sentence after the reinvestigation, Yamawaki may try to argue it was for self-defense and in return, Saeki may be charged for illegal entry, damage of private property and causing personal hurt.
Shuuichi is shocked to hear it and says that he would speak up for Saeki in court or press charges against Yamawaki if that happens because Saeki was only trying to rescue him. However, Saeki scolds Shuuichi that revealing in court that he was nearly raped by Yamawaki will stain his reputation and clean record. Although Shuuichi refuses to let Saeki sacrifice himself, Saeki reassures him that he will mostly likely only be fined if he was found guilty. Instead of worrying about him, Saeki advises Shuuichi to be wary of Yamawaki since he will probably contact him once he is out on bail.
Just then, Wakamiya arrives and reminds Saeki of their dinner appointment in the evening. Saeki asks Shuuichi to join them and Wakamiya also promises to do his best to defend Saeki.
While the men are at the restaurant, Shuuichi sees a painting by an artist he admired. Saeki also remembers that Shuuichi owns a book collection of the artist’s works. Shuuichi explains that among all his works, there was one painting that depicted the Holy Mother Mary during a winter’s night in Venice and it was exceptional. However that painting has since been sold to a private Japanese collector during an auction and is no longer available for public viewing.
Some business associates arrive at the restaurant and Saeki leaves the table to entertain them. Among them is a capable young woman, Michiko who is of the same age as Shuuichi and Saeki. Shuuichi notices that Saeki seems to be well-aquainted with her.
Wakamiya asks if Shuuichi has prepared a Christmas gift for Saeki. Shuuichi is surprised at the sudden question as he has been too busy to buy gifts for anybody. Wakamiya encourages Shuuichi to come up with something for Saeki and take the opportunity to improve their relationship.
In the background, Shuuichi overhears Michiko telling Saeki she looks forward to seeing him at Christmas.
Back at their mansion, Shuuichi wonders what he can buy for Saeki as he realises that he does not know much about the man’s interests, let alone what makes him happy. He feels that perhaps it is his own pride towards Saeki that took away the desire to learn more about him as a person, especially after Saeki forces him to become his sex slave. Suddenly, the door opens and Saeki enters the bathroom, chiding Shuuichi for taking his own sweet time. Shuuichi has asked Saeki to wait for him, so that they can discuss what gifts to buy for his family. Shuuichi is hoping to discover what Saeki wants while doing so.
Although Shuuichi promises to get out of the bathroom soon, Saeki decides to give him a hand and soap him while waiting for the bath tub to fill up. [*smirks* XD]
Saeki: Saa~ Shuuichi-sama, let me help you ♥ [hehe... he reverts back to calling him -sama :3 You can hear the subtle change in Morimori's voice... to the firm, I won't take "no" for an answer tone. Very very moe XD]
Shuuichi refuses Saeki’s insistent “help” without success and escapes into the tub. Saeki follows him inside. He is intoxicated by his scent and begins to touch and kiss Shuuichi’s sensitive spots. Shuuichi wonders why he is even allowing it to happen. He is aware of how aroused he feels when Saeki touches him and is ashamed of his own moans that are echoing in the bathroom. Even though Shuuichi denies it, he knows his body is hungry for Saeki and is unable to refuse him.
[This is a very sexy and luxurious H-scene that gives the couple ample time to build up a scorching fire before finishing with a satisfying climax. Very smexy, echoing climatic moans and splashing water! I love the bassy timbre of Morimori's voice as he talks dirty to Shuuichi. You really must get a good pair of ear/headphones to enjoy it to the fullest extent! And Sakupyon is unbelievably hot, I wished I was seme-ing him *blushes*]
The aftermath…
Shuuichi (to himself): I’ve done such a shameful thing… getting all turned on in Saeki’s arms and even climaxing in that kind of place… OTL;;;

Saeki makes some gift suggestions for Saeki’s mother and younger brother, Kikyo (Yuuki Hiro). As a Christmas present, Saeki has even signed Kikyo up for a strict tuition class to ensure that he studies properly. Shuuichi feels inept as this is what he as a brother and head of the family should be doing but Saeki has even taken care of it for him. Shuuichi also realises that as the elder son in Kurahashi family who is under the constant scrutiny of others, everytime he is complimented for his looks or actions, he feels an emptiness within. To protect himself from the loneliness, he has pretended to be nonchalant about everything. He never realised how much he is afraid of being alone and how much he wished to be able to act like a spoilt child until he met Saeki.
Shuuichi asks Saeki what he wants for Christmas. He wants to be able to do something for him and show his appreciation but Saeki replies that he does not want or need anything. Shuuichi persists but Saeki firmly refuses. Just then, the phone rings. Saeki excuses himself and leaves the room to take the business-related call in his study.
Shuuichi suddenly remembers what he overheard during dinner just now. Michiko said she looked forward to meeting Saeki during Christmas. Although Shuuichi knows right at the beginning that his current master-slave relationship with Saeki is not built on any feelings for each other, he cannot help feeling cold in his heart when Saeki refuses so firmly his attempt to get closer to him.
It is Christmas eve the next day and Saeki has already left their mansion by the time Shuuichi wakes up. Shuuichi remembers what Michiko said again. He tells himself that since Saeki is going to celebrate Christmas with his girlfriend, he should also enjoy himself thoroughly without Saeki. Shuuichi calls home but Kikyo and his mother are just about to leave for a Christmas concert where Kikyo is performing. They do not have an extra ticket for him. Although Shuuichi asks to join them for Mass, Kikyo assumed that Shuuichi will be spending the day with Saeki and did not include him in their plans.
This is the first time that Shuuichi spends Christmas alone. In the past, his family will have a Christmas party and celebrate his birthday at the same time but since his father passed away, they have stopped doing so. In the end, Shuuichi decides to open his gifts but as he does so, he feels increasingly empty and lonely. He looks at his presents and at the happy faces of people and couples walking in the streets decorated with Christmas lights and wonders where Saeki is. Feeling frustrated, Shuuichi goes to bed.
In the middle of the night, Shuuchi is rudely awakened by the sound of thunder. He is immobilised by his fear of thunder and unable to close the windows.
A flashback reveals that when Shuuichi was a child, his mother nearly died during a stormy night. At that time, his father was away on an overseas business trip. He tried to appear strong and did not even cry even though he struggled with the fear of losing his mother then. Perhaps it is the reason why he is afraid of the sound of thunder ever since. However, only once did he not feel afraid and it was with Saeki by his side when they were locked in campus during a thunderstorm. Saeki had held him and assured him that they would not die from the cold.
At this point, Shuuchi begins to cry and scold Saeki for not being there for him.
Shuuichi: Why are you not here with me? Leaving me here alone at a time like this. Idiot… Saeki, you idiot! *sobs*
Shuuichi realises that he himself is the idiot because he is hoping for Saeki’s presence now just like the night when they were in trapped in campus. He feels like an idiot for wanting a man who does not want or feel anything for him. Another clap of thunder sounded and it is the last straw…
Shuuichi: I’ve had enough! Save me! ( T~T)
Saeki: Shuuichi-sama!
Suddenly, Saeki calls out to Shuuichi as he enters the bedroom and closes the windows quickly. He asks if Shuuichi is alright but the trembling man pushes his hand away.
Shuuichi: Don’t touch me! [Tsuntsun desu ne~ :3]
Saeki: The thunderstorm is far away now.
Shuuichi: I told you not to touch me! ( T3T)
Saeki: It’s ok now *holds him*
Shuuichi: Let go of me! It’s better that you didn’t come back here! Go back to where your girlfriend is right now! [Aren't you crying for him just a minute ago? XD so cute~]
Saeki: Girlfriend?
Shuuichi: Didn’t you make a date with her on Christmas eve? And proof of the fact is that you don’t even want any presents from me *pouts* [Shuuichi is so cute when he throws tantrums like this :3 How is it possible to not love him...]
Saeki is puzzled and asks what Shuuichi is talking about. Shuuichi -almost- blurted out to Saeki that he is angry with him because he left him alone at home that day. Without hearing the real reason, Saeki tightens his embrace and apologises anyway.
Shuuichi: Why are you apologising?
Saeki: I’m sorry… for leaving you alone in such a stormy night.
Shuuichi: It’s ok now. It’s not a big deal. I’m used to being alone anyway.
Saeki: This is why… This is precisely why I don’t want to leave you alone… because in a stormy night like this, I know that you’re crying by yourself. *hugs tightly* It’s ok now.
Shuuichi tries to push Saeki away but Saeki holds him tight and declares that he will always be by Shuuichi’s side, just like that stormy night when they were locked in the campus. Shuuichi resists him but Saeki kisses him insistently.
Saeki: What is that about a girlfriend on Christmas eve? Stop talking about strange things. Don’t make excuses for yourself. It’s ok to cry if you’re afraid.
Shuuichi: Shut up. Who’s afraid?
Saeki: Then are you saying it’s better to leave you alone?
Shuuichi (in a small voice): … … Horrible… ( T~T) You are a horrible person…
Saeki *chuckles*: Demon. Monster. Beast… you’ve called me all sorts of names… I’ve finally leveled up to a human being? *deep kiss* Leveling up as a human being is my Christmas present from you then. [Lol~ Katoh Elena-sensei is such a genius.]
Saeki kisses Shuuichi deeply. Although Shuuichi wants to resist, Saeki’s kisses calm him down and he is not afraid anymore. Saeki can see through what Shuuichi cannot express in words and to Shuuichi, it is the best Christmas present. Not a physical representation but something that comes from the heart. Shuuichi wonders if Saeki wishes for Shuuichi to discover the secret that is hidden within his heart, something that he too is unable to put in words…
The next day, Saeki informs Shuuichi that he has an appointment and will not be back till late evening. At the same time, he tells him that Kikyo has called asking Shuuichi to return home for lunch.
After lunch, Shuuichi’s mother leaves to meet her friends while Kikyo goes back to his own room. Shuuichi flips through his photo album and is reminded of his high school days. He sees an old photo of young Saeki standing beside Kikyo with a scary looking expression. Shuuichi has always felt intimidated by the coldness in Saeki’s eyes, like that of a beast which keeps others in a distance. Shuuichi feels that if he understood at that time what Saeki had gone through as an abandoned child, perhaps he would not have rejected him then and offered some words of consolation instead. Shuuichi looks other photos and is surprised to find a photo of Saeki playing soccer. There’s even a photo of Saeki smiling naturally while carrying a young Kikyo on his shoulders. Saeki has never smiled at him that way. Shuuichi decides he should talk to Kikyo who may be able to tell him more about Saeki.
While talking to Kikyo, Shuuichi discovers that his younger brother has grown up to be a fine young man who seems a lot more independent than he was. Saeki has been strict with Kikyo but seems overprotective when it comes to Shuuichi. He also hears for the first time that during high school, he fainted in the library and Saeki carried him all the way home during a thunderstorm. As he developed a high fever after that, it had caused quite a stir in the family. Shuuichi has a vague impression of that night and remembers going to meet his sempai, Yamawaki at the library but he has no memory of what happened after that. Shuuichi is sure that the injury on Saeki’s back was caused around that period of time. He presses Kikyo for more information but his brother tells him it is better to find out from Saeki himself. He points out that Saeki is not good at communicating his emotions and he may even be waiting for Shuuichi to ask him about it.
Shuuichi goes back to the mansion but Saeki has not returned yet. Yamawaki calls him on the phone and requests to meet him for one last time so that he can offer him an apology face-to-face. Although Shuuichi is apprehensive, he agrees to meet him as he wants to ensure that Yamawaki would not take action against Saeki.
Shuuichi meets Yamawaki and his lawyer at a cafe. Yamawaki appears to be remorseful for what he has done and says he is glad that Saeki did not die. He hopes that Shuuichi would not press charges against him. In return, he will not retaliate against Saeki either. He also confesses to Shuuichi he has loved him since high school and even went to the extent of drugging him with the intention of raping him at that time. There was a thunderstorm that night. However, Saeki came in time to stop him. Yamawaki says he regretted it and feels grateful that Saeki stopped him from making a big mistake. Shuuichi tries to question him about the injury on Saeki’s back and Yamawaki steers the conversation back to the recent incident. He blames himself for trusting Shuuichi’s uncle who made use of him to get back at Saeki. Naively, Shuuichi buys his story. Then Yamawaki’s time is up and he leaves with his lawyer, reminding Shuuichi once again, not to press charges.
Back at the mansion, Saeki confronts Shuuichi for meeting up with Yamawaki. Shuuichi explains that he wanted to make sure that Yamawaki would not do anything to Saeki and at the same time find out exactly what happened during high school. Shuuichi feels that if Saeki had told him what Yamawaki did to him then, he would not have escaped with him. The gun wound nearly cost Saeki his life and he does not want such incidents to happen again. Although Saeki is a despicable man who stole his company and made him his sex slave, Shuuichi believes that there is more to it than that. They have overcome many challenges together over the past eight months and Shuuichi believes he can judge with his own eyes who he can trust and depend on. At the same time, he wants Saeki to trust him and share his thoughts with him from now on. He also wishes to rid their relationship of anger and hatred and be able to protect and thank Saeki properly.
In response, Saeki tells Shuuichi he feels a sense of defeat whenever he faces Shuuichi. How he wished that even if it is only for once, Shuuichi would fall to where he is [Sorry for the somewhat direct translation again. Can't seem to find the right words to paraphrase this well.] Saeki added that he does not wish for Shuuichi’s gratitude nor protection because it is his duty as a servant to protect his master. Saeki kisses Shuuichi deeply again and begins to devour his body. Shuuichi tries to resist, admitting his fear of being physically intimate with Saeki.
Shuuichi: No, you can’t…
Saeki: You are already so sensitive here…
Shuuichi: That’s why I’m afraid… it’s like I’m losing myself…
Saeki: And that’s why I’m so happy… because your body has always fallen towards where I am...
Shuuichi: *moans and gasps* Ah… Saeki… stop!
Saeki (clearly aroused): Is it ok to stop? Here… * ♥ squish squish ♥ * it is already craving for me… *unbuckles his own belt and lifts Shuuichi towards him*
Shuuichi : *gasps* Saeki…
Shuuichi cries out in sweet pain as Saeki enters him… [Kyaa~ (^///^) Sakupyon's little pants and gasps that go in rhythm with Morimori's grunts when Saeki is thrusting inside Shuuichi are seriously realistic. *dies from bloodloss*]

That evening, it is snowing. Shuuichi is glad to be able to spend a peaceful and quiet Christmas with Saeki. It feels like a dream. He thinks in his heart that perhaps this is the best Christmas present for the both of them. As they watch the snow fall onto the streets decorated with Christmas lights, Saeki whispers to Shuuichi.
Saeki: Shuuichi-sama…. It’s alright if you never come to where I am. I will always go to where you are just like in the past, and will continue to do so in the future… This is my decision/determination.
Saeki kisses him, silencing the questions that are at tip of his tongue. As Shuuichi returns the sweet, warm and gentle kiss, he wonders and hopes he can discover the real meaning behind Saeki’s declaration one day.
The next day, Saeki leads Shuuichi to the president’s office and surprises him with his favourite painting. Although the painting was meant to be Shuuichi’s Christmas present, Saeki will hang it here as Shuuichi’s punishment for breaking his promise to not meet Yamawaki. Nevertheless, Shuuichi is pleasantly surprised by the gesture. Then Saeki leaves for an appointment.
Wakamiya enters Saeki’s office and notices the painting. He reveals that Saeki had skipped a Christmas party with their business associate in order to meet and buy the painting from the previous owner. He then asks Shuuichi what present he has given Saeki but Shuuichi admits that he did not get Saeki anything. Wakamiya muses that to Saeki, having Shuuichi by his side is probably the best Christmas present for him. Shuuichi wonders why and Wakamiya points out that it is obvious that Saeki is in love with him. Shocked, Shuuichi denies the possibility but Wakamiya explains that Shuuichi maybe clueless about Saeki’s feelings but Saeki would not have taken so much trouble just to get painting for Shuuichi if it was not motivated by love.
Reeling from the shock of the revelation, Shuuichi excuses himself. He bumps into Saeki at the corridor and is overwhelmed by embarrassment and confusion. Concerned that Shuuichi may be feverish because his cheeks are flushed red, Saeki tries to touch his forehead. Unsure of how to react, Shuuichi pushes his hand away by reflex. The two men take the lift together and Shuuichi cannot find the right words to ask Saeki about what Wakamiya said. In the end, Shuuichi reaches his floor and excuses himself, leaving a puzzled Saeki. As this part draws to a close, Shuuichi believes that if what Wakamiya said is true, perhaps one day they will be able to transcend their current master-servant relationship and spend their days just like the peaceful white Christmas the night before. He would definitely discover what Saeki really wants and sort out his own feelings towards Saeki by the time the next Christmas arrives…

Slaver’s Nude is volume three of a five-part novel series by novelist Katoh Elena (華藤えれな).
Ah~ that was the last dramatised volume of this series, considering two volumes of Slaver’s Zenpen and Kouhen drama cds were based on one novel, this is the fourth Slaver’s drama CD (excluding Freezing Eye which is focused on another couple)!
A very enjoyable volume to listen to… this one :) How I wish they would complete dramatising all the volumes!
In the freetalk, the seiyuus mentioned that they first recorded the series in 2003. Everybody was praising Morimori about how cool (kakkoii) he was which he modestly disagreed. Almost a year has passed since the seiyuu last recorded the previous volume, Slaver’s Lover (Kouhen) and Morimori admitted that he forgot how he was supposed to sound as Saeki already. Morimori said he relistened to the previous CDs and felt the revelation like: “Ah~ so that was how it was like then…” and tried his best to voice him. Sakupyon agreed and said that both the characters had matured since then. Although four years has passed, the actual time-frame of the story till Slaver’s Nude was only about eight months.
Morimori pointed out that Saeki was only 23 years old and he tried to sound as young as he could. Sakupyon added that Saeki was 10 years younger than he was (in 2007) and Morimori said… “I’m already 40!” and Sakupyon was like: Ooooooohhhh….. *awkward laughter* Sweat is appearing all over me now!” Lol~ and everybody else joined in and laughed… Some parts I don’t get so… skipped :P
Next Narita Ken commented about his character Yamawaki Shigeru and said that he forgot how the character was like too. When he read script, he felt that Yamawaki seemed truly sorry for what he did and didn’t seem like such a bad person now. In response, Morimori said something about Narita Ken’s character being like a sniper in the story… [erm, as in somebody who lays in ambush?] which made Sakupyon laugh out loud lol~ Narita Ken then said that he wished he could also act as somebody cool like Saeki too, etc. [skipped] Sakypyon mentioned about the scene where Shuuichi met Yamawaki. In the script he was supposed to only take a sip of water but Narita Ken was heard swallowing water at least a few times. Although it was at a cafe, Morimori said it sounded like Yamawaki was drinking from a bottle. Narita Ken admitted that he was really thirsty at that time and he wanted to do his best since Yamawaki may not be coming back to the series again.
Yuuki Hiro was next and he said he also listened to the previous cds again to get a feel of what it was like. In the previous volume, his character was eight years old. He actually voiced the character from age six to the current age at sixteen years old. Everybody voiced their admiration at his ability to so. He commented that his character seemed a lot stronger both physically and mentally than his older brother, Shuuichi this time. He felt that Kikyo had become dependable and grown-up, unlike some other characters who clearly did not. At that point, Sakupyon asked… “Wait a minute now… who are you looking at?” And everybody burst out laughing. Narita Ken sheepishly blurted out that their eyes met when Yuuki Hiro said that and everybody laughed again. Yuuki Hiro quickly denied and said he was referring only to the characters.
Finally Horiuchi Kenyuu commented that although Wakamiya didn’t appear in many scenes, he felt that the character was cool in the sense that he gave the men advice at crucial points and helped them along in their journey. He hoped he could also be such a mature adult at that age. He also found Saeki’s character very cool too. He mentioned something about Shuuichi’s fear of thunder… and also said something like he would love to be able to experience such a deep love relationship with someone at least once in his lifetime.
At the end, Sakupyon asked what followed Slaver’s Nude and Morimori said Slaver’s Bone? And they went on to joke about the scope of the story which may grow and extend to even become Slaver’s Earth and Slaver’s Cosmos ^^;; Sakupyon said it almost seemed like robots would come out any moment. Anyway they ended the freetalk and wished listeners the best till the next CD in perhaps a year. Unfortunately, till date, no Slaver’s drama continuation (T_T) Well, that’s all for now! Let’s pray for dramatisation of all the Slaver’s volumes in the future. Hope you enjoyed this review!

Hi, IDK if we’re allowed to request here but do you think you can do a detail review for Ecstasy wa Eien please (or translation)? Its also a morimori x sakupyon pair and its really hot aswell but i cant enjoy it to the fullest because i dont understand japanese =/. Still I thankyou for your hardwork with the review on Slaver’s series, I’ve lost so much blood from this series H scene and some of the translation of the dirty talk you did.. dies.

@ponytale: Oh…You present a good point on why the mangaka set Hisoka’s character as a teenager rather than a young adult. On a side-note, it’s interesting how the manga currently focuses on Hisoka and his family. Based on the latest chapter, Hisoka is now on a quest to obtain the strongest shikigami, a fire dragon by the name Kurikara Ryuoh, whom even Tsuzuki failed to subdue. Concurrently, Tatsumi and Watari were assigned to investigate Hisoka’s family and the mystery behind his mother’s 2-year pregnancy. Something tells me the test given by Kurikara to Hisoka will be related to his family, setting the stage for a battle between Kurikara (a fire dragon) and Yatonogami (a water snake god).
Aw, but I like the Tatsumi x Watari pairing! OT, Tatsumi and Watari were so funny in the manga when they first met Hisoka’s dad. They were both like O.O with Watari saying now he knows where Bon got his looks while all Tatsumi managed was a “…yeah.” XD
I can’t remember where I got this information but Sebby intended to look like Ciel’s dad, I guess to always remind him of his purpose of exacting revenge on those responsible for his family’s murder. Hm, a Sebby x grown-up!Ciel H-scene…kinda like a twisted form of incest (coz Sebby looks like his dad) or narcissm? Me likes! XD
In regards with Pasukore vids, try searching at youtube for the short clip on a conversation among Juurota-san, Kenyuu-san, and Suzuken. I think it was part of Pasukore 2003. My favorite part was when they discussed on Nariken and his pervy antics while recording bl dramas and when Kenyuu-san had Suzuken ask Juurota-san to like/love him using his karami voice XD

@ponytale: I’ve also only watched the anime and read parts of the manga, but I get the impression that Tsuzuki, being the masochist and self-sacrificing idiot that he is, is a wee bit curious on what it’s like to give in to Muraki’s advances. Just look at the poker scene in the anime–who in his right mind would continue to appear vulnerable in front of and approach someone like Muraki, unless you’re also unconsciously attracted to that psycho-maniac? Thank goodness for Hisoka and his quick-thinking! If not for him, I bet Muraki would’ve raped the cr*p out of Tsuzuki (uh, no pun intended…but then again I’m not that fond of his character) and the idiot would only think that he deserved it or some nonsense like better him than somebody else. Gah! Btw, I believe Muraki not only needs Tsuzuki’s body to exact his revenge on his brother. Remember, this is the guy who raped a mere child and cursed him to die slowly just because he thinks he’s too beautiful to die a quick death; it’s probably not beyond him to ‘enjoy’ Tsuzuki’s body before going through with his original goal.
Er, sorry for my Tsuzuki-bashing. I told you characters like him irritate me so much! I just don’t like his self-pitying antics when, in my book, Hisoka had it worse at an even younger age. At least Tsuzuki had his sister. Hisoka’s family shunned him and left him to die alone because of his empathy, but do you see him be all emo about it (well, at least in the anime)?
Anyway, I support the Tsuzuki x Hisoka pairing, because if ever Tsuzuki decides to grow a pair and act his age (er…okay maybe not) and be the gentle, mature seme he could be, then he would be perfect to top a fiesty, intelligent uke like Hisoka. Muraki, you stupid maniac! You could’ve waited for Hisoka to grow up into a beautiful young adult before killing him…then you’ll have more choices of ‘ripe’ bishies to molest, haha! XD But seriously, try googling for Nagare Kurosaki and you’ll know what I’m talking about. I think in the manga, Tatsumi had developed a sort-of crush on Hisoka’s father and started caring for him, especially after knowing of the Kurosaki family’s horrible curse (urgh! another traumatic scene for me that tentacle-rape thing involving my lovely Nagare and this snake god…what’s up with the mangaka and her penchant for torturing my favorite bishies in that manga???).

While I can’t argue that the actor playing Light is good, erm…I need someone who looks convincing enough to play the ‘perfect handsome student’ role. Light also has that western look to him so I think Shirota Yu would do just fine. Just imagine seeing his evil-genius smirk while saying ‘checkmate’? Gah! Even I would have a hard time choosing between L and Light if it was like that! :-P

Yep. I guess my level of desensitization depends on my mood. Sometimes I don’t mind seeing or listening to hard-core H-scenes, other times vanilla or implied sex-scenes are all I can tolerate. But in general, you could say I’m more of the vanilla-type bl fan hehe :-)

That’s true huh… Muraki will most likely thoroughly have fun with Tsuzuki’s body by breaking him apart physically and mentally before using him for his final purpose of resurrecting his brother. For all we know, maybe he is capable of preserving and keeping Tsuzuki alive without his body and switch his head around with his brother’s just for the hell of it.
I think torturing her characters might be cathartic for the mangaka :P But one of the reasons Hisoka is set this way cos his character is very strong. If he were an adult with these desirable qualities, he would probably have overshadowed Tsuzuki as a lead.
Anyway, seldom we get tentacle-rape for male characters :O The snake god is often used to do such a thing ^^;;; There’s a BL game Tamayura which also has a snake god and does the same thing OTL. Nagare Kurosaki looks good… Tatsumi doesn’t get any reciprocation from Tsuzuki, especially since Hisoka is a more suitable partner for him. It’s understandable he would transfer his love to someone like Nagare I guess?

Btw, my favorite character in YnM is Hisoka; I like his no-nonsense attitude and inner strength despite the traumatic experiences he went through as a child. I bet he would’ve given Tsuzuki a run for his money in the looks department if only he grew up to his early 20′s before becoming a shinigami–I mean, have you seen his father, Nagare, in some manga scans and cover? :9~

Well, at least L lived longer than Light in the live-action movies. The actor playing L was kinda cute, but the one playing Light? No offense to him but I think Shirota Yu (a.k.a Tezuka-buchou in Prince of Tennis live-action movie) would’ve been a better choice to play that role. Yeah, I hope the novel would be made into an OVA in the future. What’s interesting about the villain of the novel is that in contrast to Light, his goal focuses on beating L by creating a ‘perfect’ crime; one L won’t be able to solve, thus placing a tarnish in his record. And the clues! Though the plot may seem sketchy at times, unraveling the clues left by the murderer in the crime scenes is just a joy to read and speculate on.

No worries XD well, it’s a matter of exposure. Veteran seiyuus are around much longer so we’re more aquainted with their voices. However, some new seiyuus have distinctive voices too so they make an impression much faster. Most of the time, they debut in the BL industry as uke, so since you only go for semes, you won’t be able to spot them :D If their seme happen to be veteran seiyuus, no harm trying the pairing out and see if you like them too.

Yeah, it’s hot how Shiozawa-san can sound so emotionless and sensual at the same time. Though I’m not a fan of Morimori as uke, his H-scene with Shiozawa-san in Abunai series is one of the most realistic (and probably the longest) I’ve heard. Lol, Morimori’s gentle voice is quite healing…kinda like listening to a doting husband, huh? Hayami-san sounds great in Yami no Matsuei but I don’t like the Muraki x Tsuzuki pairing. I kinda like Muraki (despite him being a sadistic pervert) but not a fan of Tsuzuki.

Bah! Forget about the crappy Death Note live-action movies. The novel is much more entertaining. It’s about L’s last case before the Kira one regarding a string of murders in Los Angeles. This case was also the one wherein L employed the help of FBI agent Misora Naomi who acted as his eyes and hands. It’s quite a good read and the clues left by the murderer to indicate his next victim is just ingenious. Finally, the main villain is a very interesting character because he’s also a candidate to the “L” title (so basically he’s also a super-genius though deranged).
I don’t know about you, but if I were Sakupyon, I also wouldn’t face my designated partner during these types of recording…would feel too awkward. Wonder if he faces Morimori or Suzuken during recording? I mean, I think he’s already comfortable doing bl scenes with these two. Kenyuu-san is such a funny guy! Oh and Sakupyon of course <3 I have been wishing for his count sheep voice in the Hitsuji de Oyasumi series but sigh… sadly there is none.
I think Tsuzuki can be considered a spacey uke when you pair him with Muraki. I like Muraki x Oriya/Oriyax Muraki too.

Mmm it really depends on the individual. Younger/newer seiyuus don't necessarily do uke as well as the veterans, although nowadays the good ones (e.g. Kaji Yuki) seem to sound more daring. Older seiyuus generally sound better now than when they first started. Ono Daisuke is a good example. Now his uke is a lot sexier and more realistic. He probably got some karami tips from Kamiyan lol~
The first 2 Death Note live actions were actually pretty good and clever! I can vouch for that. The 3rd one was crappy tho'. Ah icic… maybe if they made that novel into an OVA XD we can see L again!

Exactly. No other seiyuu can pull of such smexy whispers like Shiozawa-san. Everytime I watch the old version of Ai no Kusabi, I get shivers listening Iason whisper to Riki while they have sex. Can’t say I’m a fan of Morimori’s gentle-seme voice maybe because I prefer it when he sounds intimidating and dangerous–his voice just has a certain ring of power and authority in it. Hayami-san’s voice is perfect for evil and sadistic semes, kinda like Muraki from Yami no Matsuei, though his character in Mirage of Blaze is hot despite being a departure from his usual role as the villain (btw, I love the pill scene from the ova). Yup, Suwabe-san is the poster-voice for dissolute characters. XD Hm, I’m quite picky over seiyuus who play uke roles and so far, my sole favorite is Sakupyon. I can tolerate Junjun in innocent-uke roles (e.g. Ayase)…until the H-scene starts (can’t stand his squeaky moaning voice, see Okane ga Nai anime).

Keith!!! The gay bar scene where they bust the drug-dealer–OMG that was all kinds of hot! Keith was so sexy instructing Narumi (am I right?) how to shoot effectively while pretending they were making out on top of the table. Gah! I love that story so much!

Kenyuu-san…you’re beginning to sound like Nariken, asking Sakupyon why he doesn’t look at you during H-scenes. Lastly, I laughed after hearing Morimori’s “…ippai kouhai” comment and the last parts where Kenyuu-san was, I think, demonstrating something about breathing techniques. Yeah, that’s why this is one of my favorite FTs; everyone is having a hearty laugh through out their conversation. I guess Kenyuu-san is really an effective host ;-) Any other juicy bits you’ve gathered from this FT?
@jinnina: ah~ icic, you can try Oi Tanaka-kun Kaiketsuhen BLCD. It is the 2nd vol. of the series. It is a nice intro to their pairing cos the story is realistic and relatively easy to understand. And the best is that the H-scenes are hot and realistic too :) In this story Sakupyon is mainly uke. In the previous volume (Oi Tanaka-kun Juuban Shoubu), he was both seme and uke.

OMG I get the shivers too!!! XDD Shiozawa-san’s Iason is just so… *speechless* lol~ well, sometimes I just feel like listening to some gentle lovin’ you know? And Morimori’s voice heals me lol~ Yes, how can I forget Hayami Sho’s Muraki. I loved how he terrorised Mikishin’s Tsuzuki lol~ His Naoe is mature manly angst personified. The pain and emotion in his voice is so quietly overwhelming.
My fav uke list is a lot longer cos each one of them have their own appeal for me ;) Sakupyon is top for his understated and realistic moans and gasps. He is probably one of the best. I also like Nojima Kenji and Hirofumi too for similar quality. The slutty sounding/high-pitched ones (lols~) include Kamiya Hiroshi, Chiba Susumu, Suzuki Tatsuhisa, Takeuchi Ken etc. Loud and manly ones (lol~lol), Yusa Kouji, Hatano Wataru, etc. Boyish, cute ones, Kaji Yuki, Junjun, Miyata Kouki etc. Masochistic ones (lol~lol) Hirarin XDD (can’t think of anyone else in that category) and more. But some seiyuus overlap in the above categories so this is just a general overview lol~
Oh speaking of spacy uke. I just remembered one that is close to that: Kimi ga Koi ni Oboreru 1 and 2 based on manga by Takanaga Hinako. Pairing: Takahashi Hiroki x Yusa Kouji. Give it a try :)

If I’m not wrong, Kenyuu-san said that they had to wait for Morimori while he was outside and Morimori replied that there were lots of fresh young faces at the lobby… I’m not sure if they were referring to them as potential uke for Morimori or just cos they (male/female) were just young and delectable. Kenyuu-san plays baseball and he was comparing his breathing to it. Funny thing when he demonstrated how he breathed for two different types of karami, he sounded exactly the same and Morimori was like Hey, they are both the same! And Kenyuu-san explained no, no the feelings put in were different lol~
Kenyuu-san’s teasing doesn’t sound as pervy as Narita Ken. He was just stating a fact. Like “We’re a pairing in the drama but you didn’t look at me at all during the whole recording session (not just the H-scenes)” but Narita Ken’s teasing (to Chiba Susumu that was revealed in BL Urabanashi) would be along the lines of “How did it go? Did you feel Genki? G.E.N.K.I?” in a pervy voice. That genki bit refers to whether Chiba-san felt aroused or not :P Little wonder everybody calls him a hentai.
If you wanna listen to that PURE HENTAI mode of Narita Ken, go listen to Oi Tanaka-kun Juuban Shoubu. There’s a one track Narita Ken x Chiba Susumu molest scene (Hentai train passenger x High school student). Quite disgusting now that I remember it actually. ^^;;; But seriously, only Narita Ken can make it sound so naturally hentai.
@ponytale: Right. It is important for fans to learn to separate the bl seiyuus from their roles, otherwise, I think it can be considered as a form of harrassment. While it sure is interesting to know more about their private lives, I’m honestly content with listening to the FTs in order to have an idea of who they are outside voice-acting.
I hope one day we’ll be seeing the remaining two volumes of Slavers’ series in the list of up and coming bl titles. Better yet, a new series featuring the Morimori x Sakupyon pairing. Kind of impossible as of now, I know, but we can dream.
Ah…Shiozawa-san, what a lost in the seiyuu industry. He’s actually in my top three list of seiyuus with the sexiest seme voice. The other two would be Morimori and Suwabe-san. For me, Shiozawa-san’s voice is perfect for cool, mysterious semes (kyaah! Iason!); Morimori’s best when using his intimidating and very dominant OBEY-ME-OR-I’LL-MAKE-YOU seme voice; and lastly, Suwabe-san’s suave voice is just made for rake characters.
Yup, I believe La vie en rose is the only bl drama which features a 5P H-scene. Excluding Morimori, I don’t think Sakupyon was ever ‘paired’ (e.g. involving an H-scene) with the other three veterans in my seme list, so I really wonder how he would’ve performed in a role like that (especially in an H-scene with Shiozawa-san).
Lol, I was depressed too after L died…no other character in Death Note had his (quirky) charm, not even Light.
Yeah, I would have liked the manga expanded into a full-length one. However, you’re right, it’s current length does work and contributed to the story’s over-all impact.

That's true… Shiozawa-san's voice… there's simply no replacement for his cool seme voice :( Agrees with you about Morimori too although I also love his gentle seme (mune kyun~ XD). I don’t have as strong feelings for semes except for these two seiyuu. Another seme seiyuu I loved is Hayami Sho but that’s partly because of his roles in Mirage of Blaze and Zetsuai X3 since he doesn’t have any BL roles nowadays. Other seiyuus I tend to have stronger impressions or prefer them as uke although they also sound lovely as seme (Sakupyon, Yusa Kouji for example) but Suwabe-san’s has definitely made a name for himself in the suave voice (and gaijin) category lol~ His voice is smooth as honey! <3
I think Sakupyon would have done a great job if he was ever given a role like Mikishin's in La vie en rose as well :D

His service karami was cute too <3 I like it that Kenyuu-san asked Sakupyon why he didn't look at him at all during recording since they're supposed to be a pairing and Sakupyon was like ^^;;;; lol~ I notice that Kenyuu-san likes to tease his uke partners during FT. He also did that to Kamiyan in Shounen Yonkei which also made him go ^^;;;; lol~ Morimori was so cute too. Ah~ everybody sounded like having so much fun in the FT. Love their hearty laughter XD

I also can’t help pairing them in real-life then since they always act so comfortable with each other. It doesn’t help that, as I’ve mentioned, they almost always sit or stand together. Anyway, I’m now aware how improper it is for a fan to pair these seiyuus in real-life just because of their roles in bl dramas so I quit thinking like that.
I agree, Mikishin x Morimori sounds natural and yes, Shiozawa-san’s voice is smexy as hell. However, I really have this thing against uke Morimori no matter who plays his seme so…nope, can’t say I’m a fan of either Mikishin/Shiozawa x Morimori pairing. About uke Shiozawa, I think I’ve already heard that drama cd though I wasn’t able to finish it–was it the one with Tesshou Genda?

After L died, I lost interest in Death Note and just skipped to the final episode. At least L died in a more dignified way unlike Light. Yeah, Mello and Matt were under-utilized, especially Matt; it’s like he did not even survive for ten minutes after his introduction! OT, am I the only one who thinks Nozomu Sasaki (Mello’s seiyuu) and Hiyama Nobuyuki have similar voices? I swear, I can’t tell their voices apart!
I think so too, but I really wished Morimori’s character was more refined and Sephiroth-like seeing as Sakupyon used his Cloud-voice in Shonen Yonkei X3
Hm, about that Inariya-san manga, I would not change the ending because it is indeed very meaningful. I guess what I meant was, I would have liked for the mangaka to expound more on both characters’ stories before, after, and during their time ‘together’ (*cough*rape*cough*).
I’ve seen some artworks for Hanamichi Monogatari and yes, the H-positions are hot! For Honma-san’s works, I highly recommend Stairway to Heaven–excellent plot and the seme is sexy ;-)

Well, not just The Dark Blue which I reviewed. There’s one called Shizume no Utage where Shiozawa Kaneto was both seme and uke and Kinkanshoku was great too. The music was very lovely too. But I listened to them years ago when I didn’t know much Japanese so I didn’t understand very much. However, they left a deep impression of Shiozawa-san’s awesomeness as uke as well. But his seme is unparalleled of course ^^

While I must admit he does a magnificant job as an uke to say, Mikishin and the late Shiozawa Kaneto, I still prefer him as seme…his deep voice IS the epitome of seme in bl. It doesn’t sit right with me when Morimori is the one being topped instead of the other way around.
Yeah, Death Note is not the same without L. Funny, the entire time I was reading the first arc of the manga, it felt like L was the protagonist when he’s not. Reading the Mello/Near arc was like reading any other detective manga because the characters and plot became less exciting and too cliche where every clue falls into place.
The Morimori x Sakupyon H-scenes in Shonen Yonkei are amazing, but personally, I think it would’ve been better if Morimori’s soldier character was more serious and refined…kinda like Sephiroth :3 Alas, we take what we can.
Have you read Inariya Fusanosuke’s works aside from Maiden Rose? There’s a short one about a rogue soldier and a priest, which is quite poetic though a bit disturbing (of all persons to rape, why choose a priest?). Would’ve liked for the mangaka to expound on the story of that one…
I don’t know…I find Koyapi’s voice weird and muffled, like there’s always something stuck at his throat. In my opinion, seme roles would just highlight that muffled quality of his voice that’s why I prefer him voicing lively characters like Haruhi’s dad.
I like Takatsuki-sensei’s artwork because the way he draws his characters make them look fuller plus certain body parts (*wink wink*) are more defined. It doesn’t hurt that the characters’ faces (especially the semes) retain a masculine quality. Btw his chibis are the cutest ever! Hm, Akira Honma is the mangaka of ‘Usagi otoko, Tora otoko’ but my favorite among her works is the second story included in the manga ‘Last Portrait.’ I think it’s called ‘Stairway to Heaven.’ Check it out when you have the time.

They sound so good together :3 Occasionally, instead of visualising the illustrated characters from the novel, my brain actually conjured Morimori and Sakuoyon inside the H-scenes :P
That’s right. Morimori has been uke to Hatano Wataru a few times already. And there’s one sequel coming up with this pairing again. In three of the dramas, Hatano was a dog-like character and Morimori was tsundere. The plot was enjoyable and they sounded ok together but… there’s something missing. Not sure how to describe.
As for Kondou Takashi, he also expressed his surprise and excitement during FT at being cast as Morimori’s seme in Adult Education. Both of them did their job but this pairing doesn’t really work. The plot didn’t help either cos it made zero sense for the successful and matured uke to fall in love with the manipulative younger seme.
Morimori’s pairing with Mikishin sounds natural. And Shiozawa Kaneto can top anybody cos he is Iason! Lol~ Btw, Shiozawa Kaneto’s uke is pretty awesome too actually :D

Yep yep, I love Koyapi’s flirty, humourous/funny characters. There’s one drama where he was Sakupyon’s partner (but they were supporting characters and a non-H sub-pairing) and both of them sounded really cute together, like a doting hubby and fussy wife team lol~ Sakupyon’s uke was pouty and Koyapi was indulging him. Problem is, I can’t remember which drama it was cos it was a long time ago (T~T)

Yes, yes! I am particularly attracted to psychologically intense semes in shonen-ai/yaoi stories…ones who don’t even have to lift a finger to intimidate. That’s why I prefer shonen-ai stories to yaoi–they lack the steamy H-scenes but their plot definitely has impact.

I remember reading that Koyapi said he really hated doing BL H-scenes because he can’t get over the male x male idea and when he is the seme, he’ll try to imagine that his uke is a female. It’s understandable that all seiyuus would more or less go through some form of mental resistance doing BL. His emotional struggle when he has to do uke must have been really bad. Lol~ I really wonder what made him take on the Blue Wolves job. It’s probably something he didn’t have a choice in.

Exactly. The more complicated and painful the history between two characters, the sweeter it is when they finally end up together, no? Probably the most memorable line from that story was by the spacey uke when he was asking another character who’s also in a similar situation as him (having a psycho lover), “He is your fear, but…who are you without him?” I wish all bl mangas and dramas are written that way, with the characters and the romance being built up subtly as the story progresses.

What really erked me about Maiden Rose is why the uke allows the seme (forgot his name) to sexually abuse him constantly when he could’ve kicked his butt anytime (I think the later volumes of the manga showed what an expert combatant Taki is). @jinnina: ah~ ic… I have no idea about the war :P I think those fans miss an important point about BL pairings. Although the seiyuus can have awesome voice acting skills and vocal range, some characters just aren’t made for them. The characters have to be suitable for the selected seiyuu in order for the pairing to work too. But I would call Sakupyon Prince/Princess XD rather than an Empress haha… since he was usually cast as a wagamama/tsundere/in-denial uke.
Anyway, I thought Ishida-san was a pretty cool uke in Double Call with Morimori. One of his better characters (that are not idiotic/weak) but I only listened to a few volumes. Baseball doesn’t excite me lol~ ^^;;

There was a brief explanation in Vol. 2 of the manga (if I remember correctly) about Taki’s lineage and the responsibilities he has to perform.
Well, Blue Wolves was targeted at GAY men. I think it probably satisfies the perverted fantasy of seeing a handsome man being abused/violated? No idea. Maybe staging that rape by the ugliest/most repulsive man out there makes good contrast with the other extreme of a consenting handsome couple at the finale.

I wasn’t into Momocan’s story either, but as I’ve mentioned, the Midorin x Sakupyon pairing interested me seeing as Midorin rarely voices the seme in bl dramas. Yup, Sakupyon’s character did say that XD You’re right, it was probably included in the script but man, I can’t help thinking that was what Sakupyon meant by throwing in that line…I mean, I’ve read a translated interview once between these two bl drama seiyuus (I forgot who) where they mentioned something about giving cues to each other when to ‘come’ in order to end an H-scene. Maybe, Sakupyon was trying to do that?
Yeah, it is a pretty intense fanfic but somehow it ended well with all the characters being with their respective partners/lovers. What attracted me to the story was the relationship between the spacey uke and his seme–subtle yet very complicated. Though one crazy and possessive jerk, I found the villain the most interesting (and sexiest) seme; he knows he’s evil and isn’t shy about it, but he’s also caring in his own twisted way towards his uke without being mushy and obvious about it. The spacey uke and villain seme also ended up together because the writer made it clear that despite their history, they both are the only other person in this world who understands why they are who they are (er…you get the point, right?). Waai! I just love it when a seemingly unimportant character becomes the focus of a story in the end…being the secret obsession/love of the smoldering hot and uber-seme villain is an added bonus, I guess. If only we could produce bl dramas like this…
And that’s probably the reason why Sakupyon voices such good semes/ukes; he’s so into his character that he ends up crossing the line between voice-acting and reality. Listening to his mock-recording, you can feel that he treats his work very seriously including the comments given by the producer.

That’s from BL Urabanashi again :) Yamaguchi Keppei said that during one of the H-scenes with Narita Ken, he was trying to end it cos he was already very tired from the panting but when he looked at Narita Ken, that guy’s eyes were closed (totally immersed in the H-scene lol) so he couldn’t see his cues at all. lol~ Yamaguchi-san was like OMG I’m going to die already… Poor Yamaguchi-san lol~ Yeah, so Sakupyon is most probably trying to end it :P
Extreme characters leave a deeper impact and that’s some plot twist! I think I kinda understand what you mean by that. Despite their painful history, they are so tangled up that they cannot be themselves anymore without each other? It’s like the epitome of classical BL.

In BL Urabanashi Vol 3, Morimori asked Sakupyon if he remembered his first partner and Sakupyon replied matter-of-factly, “Morikawa-san dayo…” and Morimori went pfffft then everybody burst out laughing. I think Chiba-san laughed the loudest lol~ Yeah, so if I’m not wrong, his first time as uke was in 放課後の悩めるカンケイ (2002) I’ve not listened to it yet, so I’m not sure what that sounds like but it seems that there were no H-scenes between the characters that Morimori and Sakupyon play. But Momocan 1 has H-scenes right?
Yeah, the bloody rape scene in Hyakujitsu no Bara was realistic tho’ cos there was no mention of lubrication as well. It must have been very, very painful for Taki. Sheesh, the seme was huge too! :( From what I read about real life rape (esp. anal), the uke -WILL- bleed quite badly, especially cos the victim is struggling and tensed up, so it makes it worse. I read Slaver’s Kiss novel after writing these reviews (for additional research purposes lol~) and it was written that the first time Shuuichi was raped, he also bled badly and there was blood on the bedsheet. It was described in the novel during the scene where Saeki was having his monologue in the drama cd about what a horrible thing he had done to Shuuichi. But the bloody scene wasn’t described in the CD so we wouldn’t have known just by listening to it. That’s probably one of the reasons why Shuuichi appears to be very scared of Saeki when he sees that particular look in his eyes and gets the shivers when there are flashbacks of what Saeki did to him that night.
^^;;; Legend of the blue wolves lol~ It was quite shocking at first but I think it was rather well-made and if you can mentally filter out that fat guy with a good looking one… woah it would have been mega-hot. It felt like watching gay porn with an actual plot. I loled at Koyapi’s uke in that anime tho’ He was trying hard but nah… FAIL HAHAHA. That was kinda endearingly cute tho. Morimori was lovely in it :3 I was quite sad there wasn’t a continuation cos the preview of the next episode looked rather good. Anyway I read that this gay hentai anime was actually targeted for men, not women :D

I had high expectations for that pairing since I prefer Midorin playing seme roles (especially after hearing him voice Akechi Mitsuhide of Sengoku Musou). Unfortunately, their H-scene sounded sooo drawn out and flat (Lol Sakupyon throwing in a “…hurry/faster” in the middle of the H-scene made me go, yup, even Sakupyon thinks “This is not working, hurry and come already”)
About the spacey uke, I’ve yet to come across a role like that in bl cds/anime. I actually got the idea from a shonen-ai fanfiction I read once (erm…hehe, I’m a fan of those). Just to give you an idea of the kind of uke role I’m looking for, one of the side-characters is a quiet, young man who seemed, at the beginning, weird and not all right in the head. Though the character was quite helpless (and clueless) almost through out the story, still there were times when he showed backbone and deep wisdom especially during stressful situations. In the end, it was revealed that the young man witnessed his family’s murder and was suffering from mental trauma since then. If his situation wasn’t bad enough, his seme turned out to be the one responsible for the murder of his family (since the sadistic and possessive freak feels that the uke should only love him) and the final villain of the story. Epic plot-twist, eh? :-P
Waah! So many interesting information! I only understood bits of the conversation here and there, but the discussion on the climaxing scene was funny. Sakupyon was the one to initiated the topic, right? Speaking of, lol at Sakupyon finding it harder to do seme roles and Morimori teasing him about it. OT, I just noticed while watching videos of Saint Beast Seiyuu parties how Morimori and Sakupyon almost always stand or sit next to each other when doing live voice-acting/hosting (this also holds true for the Kyou Kara Maoh seiyuu party, by the way). Do you think it has something to do with their compatible voice range?
Haha, Nariken the “Legendary Hentai.” XD No matter, I think it is safe to say that despite the warnings given to him, Sakupyon greatly enjoyed working with Nariken based on his comments on Baito wa Maid’s FT. Chiba Susumu sounds so cute! Whenever I hear his voice, his character from Maiden Rose always comes to mind (can’t forget the bloody H-scene either, urgh! @_@)
Oh yes, please do listen to that FT. Horiken is such a bully (in a good way) towards his fellow seiyuus. Even our bl teiou is not safe from him! XD
While I love Viewfinder’s artwork, can’t say I’m a fan of the plot as well as Asami and Akihito. I was cool with Fei Long until the part where he was slowly learning to care for Akihito. The fact that he is an uke compared to Asami (as confirmed by the flashbacks) just made me go…meh
Tobita-san’s role in Getbackers is an elite and infamous transporter who gets his thrill by killing anyone (using surgical scalpels) who got in his way while doing deliveries…so as you can deduce, his cool and sinister voice fits the character very well. In Okane ga Nai, just imagine his genki voice in Baito wa Maid’s FT, only gay-er, lol.

Yeah, I recently listened to Wakeari… much as I love Toriumi Kousuke, this time it felt like a miss. He sounded sexy but the love scenes didn’t sound real. Mismatched pace ^^;; I briefly listened to Momocan a long time ago. I didn’t get into it :3 Sakupyon’s character said that? lol~ XDD probably written in the script but it came across with a different meaning huh.
Wow, that’s an intense fanfic :O It’ll definitely make good drama! It would be cool if we could produce it huh… I think in Japan, there’s a doujin circle that produces BLCDs too and they also had popular seiyuus to do the voiceovers. I can’t remember the name of the drama but it was a fantasy story.
Me too. I’m not sure if I caught the information correctly :D and there are much I still don’t get. Yeah Suzuken also teased Sakupyon a bit about that. Sakupyon said that while doing uke, he would think through everything like ah~ this part should sound like that and etc but while doing seme, he is worried that his voice from private moments may come out since he is a man lol~ And if I’m not wrong, he said sometimes that in love scenes involving deep smoochy French kissing, although his character would be panting, he thinks the character wouldn’t be breaking the kiss and stopping/”coming up” for breath (lol~ he made it sound like diving or swimming) And he often get comments like woah~ you sure are into it “Yaruki man man” Chiba-san was laughing so hard lol~ and Morimori was like, that’s just you and it’s not about the acting, right? XDD After listening to this, it makes me think that maybe one of the reasons Sakupyon wanted to stop doing BL is cos he is very self-conscious about these (private) things.
And Morimori and Chiba-san were very cute when they said after love scenes, they wondered if they had done a good job. It was like while doing seme sometimes they would think about their partner’s response in their minds and felt like, “Darn come on, how about this? Feel it, feel it now!” Occasionally after test recording, Morimori would felt like, “A-re? That bastard. Come on, feel it more!” and “Dammit… when they’re going to record for real, he will make it sound more sugoi” or something and the others agreed that they also feel that way when doing love scenes too. XD Yeah Saint Beast/Kyou Kara Maoh is pure fan service :3 I had a crush on Conrad then especially cos he loves Yuri so much lol~ Oh Sakupyon’s first time as uke was with Morimori too XDD I think a lot of fans love their pairing so putting them next to each other is also fan service :)
Rather than Legendary Hentai it was “Rumoured Hentai” sorry misheard that :P Chiba Susumu is also very sexy as uke to Canna Nobutoshi in Yebisu Celebrities :) Ah.. that bloody rape scene in Hyakujitsu no Bara anime sure was disturbing ^^;;;
I think Viewfinder’s plot isn’t great either. The art is mega eye candy and the sex scenes are yummy X3 I think Fei Long was cool at first too until he softened up. I think he probably became like this cos of fan requests. I kinda dig Asami/Fei Long pairing cos they have potential to be reversible while Akihito will always be uke no matter who he is paired with. I like reversible couples cos they are just so rare. Imagine my disappointment when Fei Long was portrayed as purely uke if Asami was his partner.
Ah icic, I’ll try to watch Getbackers when I can. Sinister Tobita-san sounds very attractive XD
@ponytale: Have you listened to BL Urabanashi 3 and 4? Sakupyon guests in those volumes and I think he had a discussion with Morimori, Suzuken and Chiba Susumu on how he does the kissing and H-scenes in BL cds–he even did a little demonstration, lol.
After knowing how fans suspected him of being gay because of how he voices uke roles, can’t really say I blame him for wanting to leave the BL industry, but it’s still such a lost especially for us fans of the Morimori x Sakupyon pairing:-(

I only listened up to BL urabanashi volume 5, which was if I’m not mistaken, the one with Okiayu Ryoutarou-san and Hiyama Noboyuki-san (a.k.a the veterans, lol). Suzuken’s mock recording in volume 4 was hilarious, especially when Abe-san asked Morimori to comment on Suzuken’s performance and Morimori was like “…K-kore wa, itai donna? (er, not sure if I’m typing the words right). Suzuken’s reaction when Abe-san asked him to do the whole mock recording one more time was funny as well (and Sakupyon was laughing at him in the background). Sakupyon’s was also funny because he had to do a scene wherein his character was running so he sounded so out-of-breath afterwards XD Voice-acting sure is hard work!:-P By the way, have you listened to Tenshi ka Akuma ka FT? Definitely one of my favorites, particularly the part where Horiuchi Ken-san asked Suzuken, Sakupyon, and Morimori to do a short mock-recording of an H-scene individually. Suzuken was all “eh?” while Sakupyon’s response was “Of course!”
Tobita-san is amazing playing sinister characters such as the sadistic Akabane Kuruodo of Getbackers, but I also love his voice as Someya-san from Okane ga Nai. I heard he’s going to voice Fei Long in the re-casting of Viewfinder, wonder how he’d do?

It’s so funny that Suzuken’s female friends/colleagues asked him if his mum has listened to his BL works XDD And I like the part where Sakupyon said something like he felt it was more difficult to voice seme cos he wondered and felt embarrassed that his real voice may come out during recording (HAHAHA… then Morimori teased him like it was an open hint to listeners about how he sounds during sex in real life ^///^) Chiba Susumu was so cute too. And interesting things were said about the uke’s climaxing scene too, like they come so quickly lol~ lol~ And the part where Sakupyon said that even before he did Baito wa Maid, everybody warned him about the “Legendary Hentai” Narita Ken (Even Chiba Susumu was warned before lol~)

About Junjou Romantica, I’m not really a fan of Sakupyon’s voice as Misaki–too shrilly for me but I guess it can’t be helped since Misaki is such a spazzy character. I prefer it when he uses his cool and snobby voice or his light and airy one. I’ve already listened to some tracks of Kawaii Hito, however I did not finish the cd because I’m not a fan of Koyasu’s voice (meh I wished the producers of that drama cd switched his role with Morimori’s). Speaking of Sakupyon’s uke roles, any recs wherein he plays the role of an oblivious and spacey uke?

I’m also curious about the part wherein Nariken asked Sakupyon something, which Sakupyon was kinda reluctant to answer (I think?). Lol, Nariken…that’s what you get for sounding so pervy all the time! I enjoyed listening to this FT because I find it funny that Morimori was always trying to rein in Nariken’s questions and comments.
Yeah, the mock recordings were also my favorite part. The funniest I’ve heard was Suzuken’s in volume 4 XD Waai! I love Tobita-san’s creepy, evil voice! I bet he would sound so sexy as a sadistic seme.

Normally I don’t ship couplings like Usagi x Misaki. I fell in love with Misaki because of Sakupyon cos he made him sound so cute ^^ Yeah Kawaii Hito would probably be yummier if it was Morimori semeing Sakupyon. Suzuken was cute kekeke I was disappointed with the one with Yusa Kouji although he was great. He didn’t have a partner to mock record with and he was gasping vigorously with himself OTL. They are really amazing huh since there aren’t any sound effects during recording. Yep, when I heard Tobita-san’s voice in Hakuoki anime, I was immediately attracted by it cos it had a “cold” (and slightly sinister) quality to it. Very magnetic.
And so we have Slaver’s Nude…Though not as intense and plot-driven as Slaver’s Lover and Slaver’s Kiss, I still appreciate this volume because it has a gentler tone to it (including the H-scenes, lol). Haha you’re absolutely right about Sakupyon’s gasps being in sync with Morimori’s grunts, which is probably why I find their H-scenes more natural and realistic to listen to. In line with this, I think some information regarding the technicalities of doing H-scenes were mentioned by Morimori in BL urabanashi volume 2.
While I am partial to strong and willful ukes, after hearing the part where Wakamiya revealed Saeki’s feelings towards Shuuichi (as if it was not obvious from the start–denial FTW!), I wish Sakupyon was given more innocent and clueless uke roles (kinda like Ayase) with Morimori. Would have really liked to hear him use his soft and confused voice play uke to Morimori’s very intimidating OBEY-ME-OR-I’LL-MAKE-YOU seme in BL dramas.
Oh…so that’s what the FT was all about. Lol, the sniper comment. Did you get the part where Nariken mentioned something about Morimori, Sakupyon, and the seiyuu set? Junjou Romantica. That’s another willful (kinda clueless) uke in denial (but not a strong one tho’) that Sakupyon was superb as. As for his innocent uke, you can try Kawaii Hito with Koyasu Takehito as the seme. But beware, he was reeaally weak at the beginning, cute but I didn’t enjoy the story very much when I listened to it years ago ^^;;; maybe I should go back to it again and see how I feel about it now. Hmm, if Sakupyon plays somebody like Ayase, I want him to grow stronger as the story develops X3
Hmm which part was it on the Nude FT? The beginning part or towards the end of Narita Ken’s talk? :O Cos I couldn’t really catch what he meant at the beginning either. Towards the end was after he mentioned that his character may not be back and Morimori said something like “yes, we won’t let him come back” and Narita Ken goes ^^;;;; And Sakupyon asked him to stay postive that his character might be back again.
I’ve found the BL Urabanashi volumes but haven’t listened to all of them yet. It’s very interesting to listen to the mock recordings :3 Narita Ken always sound so pervy lol XDD Thanks for the rec! Slaver’s drama cd has the most enjoyable angst for me so far :3 the plot may be cliched at points (the uke keeps getting kidnapped lol~) But the Morimori x Sakupyon pairing really made it work and there are enough hot sex-scenes to satisfy the perv in me <3 There’s even a fairy-tale like feel to it as the story developed.
Well, there are others but digging from recent memory, if you want more angst, try Cold series by Narise Konohara. This one is seriously heavy *_* The H scenes are smexy too but not as many. Drama CD pairing is Hatano Wataru x Nojima Hirofumi.
The first two volumes Cold Sleep and Cold Fever are licensed in English! I also just found out ^^;;; There are three complete volumes and all are dramatised recently. You can read the summaries there ^^
My next drama review is something different. Perhaps just a tiny bit of angst? :3 Anyway, I had put it on hold in order to finish reviewing Slaver’s so I would be getting back to it now XD
