Uuuwahc another item to add to my shopping list :D
The Damage: 9524yen (excl. shipping)
The DVD (First Press Edition comes with a manga) will be released on 28 March 2008! Pre-orders are already open. *happy dance*
I love period and fantasy stories. In this case, I absolutely loved the story and the voice acting was very very good. The drama CD and manga were lovely but nothing beats watching the characters come alive in an anime. I do have some complaints about the animation quality cos sometimes our beloved Akizuki-san (Morikawa Toshiyuki@Xì’q”V) and Kusaka (Miki Shinichirou ŽO–Ø^ˆê˜Y) don't look as well-drawn as they're supposed to bec but oh well, nothing's perfect. You can truly feel the love between the characters. I cried buckets while watching it.
Even though I've already blown a few hundred bucks on the Limited Edition OVAsc I guess I just have to have this in my collection too. If you purchase from comi-comi and buy the DVD and OST bundlec you get a special comi-comi only tokuten. I'm still considering if I should get the bundle. It costs 13000yen (excl. shipping) *dies* OMG. *dies again*
Haizc BL and Anime is such an expensive hobby :(
As a side note about Fuyu no Semi Limited Edition OVAs, depending on which vol. you're looking for, it is still possible to get them from HMV Japan, CDJapan, Amazon Japan and Playasia. Initially I ordered all 3 DVDs from Amazon Japan at a preorder discount of 26% off each DVD. However, when the time came for the package to be delivered, I had to return and refund my order due to customs issues. Stocks are slowly but surely running out but do look around to compare and for sales to maximize your dollar ^^ In the end, I managed to get my Vol. 1 & 2 during the Christmas 07 sales at CDJapan at a great bargain (30% off if I remember correctly) But coz the Limited Edition Vol. 3 was only available from Playasia at no discount (since I had to give up on Amazon Japan and it was no longer available from the other shops I listed here), I paid full price for it o.O oh~my bleeding walletc
In a way, I'm thankful I'm not a big fan of Okane ga Nai ‚¨‹à‚ª‚È‚¢ cos the Limited Edition DVD prices are seriously astronomical *sweatdrop* Granted there're lots of goodies bundled with the DVDsc but stillc o.O

31/03/2008 Update!
The package just arrived, quite heavy, still feels warm in my handsc :D
This is a worthy buy for all fans of the manga and anime. The movie-length version combines 3 episodes previously released in 3 individual DVDs. Not only has the graphics and animation improved, it also boasts newly animated scenes (and sex scenes) not included in the episodic releases!
The DVD is placed in a slim cut-out box and this edition also comes with a manga of Fuyu no Semi with gtraditionalh binding, cover and pages that resemble historical Japanese books. The size is slightly smaller than A4. I wasn't expecting that. It is a nice touch. Pity the actual clear plastic box to hold both items wasn't in the same flavour. (=^_^=) Ah~ if only they also release figurines for Fuyu no Semic
Anyway, for a fan, it is definitely a lovely addition to the collection.
