We’ll be able to buy U.S. licensed Junjou Romantica (both seasons) and Antique Bakery DVDs in the future ^^(in 2010)
This is very good news! Hopefully Nozomu Entertainment (Rightstuf) do a good job for them.

thanks for the news!! Though I will probably still prefer Aarinfantasy’s subs over official ones (they tend to PG stuff down but it might be completely pointless to do so considering the genre), I will still contribute to the profits by buying the official DVDs.
I was quite underwhelmed by the overall presentation of R1 versions of BL works I bought (Embracing Love and Winter Cicada) cos I also have the R2 Japanese versions. o_O But I think Nozomu Ent. may do a better job for Junjou and Antique cos they’ve produced pretty good DVD collections. I think these two series don’t have very controversial scripts or scenes right? *_* OMG come to think of it, IF they censored Junjou’s sex scenes (which were very mild already)… I don’t know what to say…
Lol, I guess we’ll end up getting the broadcast version…the director’s cut version was just a tad more explicit. Just a tad.
I hope we get the proper DVD release and not the broadcast version… its just WRONG *_*
ever since i figured out that junjou romantica was going to be licenced i freaked out (in a bad way)
i was thinking that they were going to dub it and ruin the whole thing
i dont get it
can someone plz explain?
Relax ^^ The DVDs are not released yet, so we can only speculate. I’ll probably wait till reviews are out before making my decision to buy
but I’m hopeful cos Nozomu has made good their releases so far.
I know there not doing a dub because of cost, i think if we ask them to do a good dub mybe fuimation can help and they can work together before its realesed in may contact them with email.
I’ll play safe and wait for reviews
I would like it more if they come up with lovely limited editions like the Japan releases… Has Rightstuf/Nozomu Ent. collaborated with Funimation on releases before?
Not that i know of but i thing they should try it i have tried emailing them got some replys but need more help they should do a good dub, and it will come to the UK and it will give it a fair advantage.
That’s great
I guess if they expect good sales, they’ll also do a better job too. Let’s look forward to it!
