@sigma: yeah, there’s one I have a deeper impression is the Ice Cold mountain demon manga or something along that line but that’s more shounen ai than yaoi :) KKM is cute… a lot of fan service ^^ and I would consider it shounen-ai? I was halfway through the second season and then I dropped. Thinking of finishing it one of these days.

I like Amatsuki a lot ^^ Edo theme. Not BL tho. Pity the anime didn’t get a second season cos of some staff troubles.

hmm yea come to think of it i can’t really think of much fantasy yaoi/bl either.I think maybe it is hard to write about without sounds cliche maybe? I can think of a few mangas that use alot of the edo period themed fantasy. Like spirits an things. There the kara kyo maoh but it isn’t really yaoi. i never got far with it. I did love conrad an yuri.

@sigma: yeah… too much echo! The H scene in the second vol. is much much better since we get to hear his usual uke voice :3 I’ll always have a soft spot for the fantasy genre. Anyway come to think of it, there is very little fantasy genre in BL huh.

I didn’t have time to write a post about Ikoku Irokoi Romantan when they released it in 2007. Gosh… how time flies! I bought the DVDs later on during a sale. Aarin subbed it but they can’t release it officially cos they had a take-down notice from the manga publisher for the related manga. But I think you should still be able to find the videos online. It is beautifully animated and very smutty and hot. Well, important thing is the manga doesn’t take itself too seriously, so the animation is also quite fun to watch and enjoy. We have a tsundere yakuza successor uke and an overly enthusiastic blond navy captain seme who likes all things Japanese (including its men) lol~

omg yes i took your warning an when i listened to it yes…my ears died. They kinda ruined his voice by doing the whole monster echo thing. During the H-scene i thought i was like listening to someone getting killed.; The secound H- sense it was less annoying because he was still slightly human there.;

Yea for some reason i think i did see ikoku iroki i don’t remember when though. I think it was on youtube so i don’t think i saw the full-version of from what i remember.

Well, don’t hold too high expectations for Crimson spell drama vol. 1. I did and I was disappointed with Kondo Takashi’s demon voice. But fortunately vol. 2 was really hot :D

XD uhh yea (went on a download spree during the weekend caught a Trojan virus had to remedy it;) i ended up downloading most of her doujinshi’s an i love them! Ive become a fan of slam dunk. I was surprised to find a Final fantasy 8 doujinshi by her an of my fav couple from the game!*///*;
(i saw that there is drama cd to crimson spell! One of the actors plays Hibari from hitman reborn!!*Dies* cant wait to hear it when i get time~)

@Sigma: yeah Ayano Yamane’s works are serious eye candy ^^ very hot sex scenes too. Check out Ikoku Irokoi Romantan too. These are some of her more popular works. To be honest, it doesn’t have much depth but is fun to read lol~ Mmm… her collection of short stories and doujinshi are cute too but I don’t remember the names :P

Hmm yea it’s mostly been just doujinshis that use tentacles an when they do its not so pretty to much over gucha-gucha.; Ayano draws the scenes perfect. I love her style~ ;v;
I started reading ‘Your my love prize veiw finder’ it’s really good too.

Yep Crimson Spell is another beautiful one XDD very good sex-scenes lol~ It is also the first BL manga that has tentacle sex XDD and made it hot cos I never could understand the appeal of tentacles before that.

yea the rape scene was disturbing. my favorite scene was from the secound ova it was sweet but short. I’ve never read the manga before but he does look descent in some colored pics.

@sigma: yeah I liked the chibi stories more than the main story… X3 the rape is hard to stomach ~_~ ah… I think almost everyone complained about the seme’s face… he looked so much better in the manga.

Finally got a chance to see this! I enjoyed. Mainly for the nice h-scenes and the cute chibis. I had to get used to the semis face though…looked really wide.;; Uke was cute an played by chiba ♥ I love the way the animators draw the eyes up close, nice detail. The short chibi series i liked more than the story itself. XD

I was a little traumatised (hahaha ) by Ishikawa-san’s uke in Koi no Annaijin since I was new to BLCDs then but Morimori caught me. Maybe I should listen to it again and see how I feel about it now :P

HAHAHA… okie, etto~ u mean the BL version, right? I found it at aarin :P listening to it now. Ishida Akira was such a scary uke *nosebleeds nevertheless* ^^;;; It’s a pretty good fan service BLCD but I agree, the music wasn’t something to shout about. It’ll probably be better without it during the H scenes.

Ooo~ my first BLCD was Koi no Annaijin 恋の案内人 (Morimori x Ishikawa Hideo) It was highly recommended in the forums, so I gave it a shot. SHOCKKU! XD hahaha It has a manga too ^\\\^;;; ah~ what a CD to start with right? And then I was hooked and seeked out anything with Morimori in it *hides*

Hmmm from what i remember the first disk was nice. The other disks i wasn’t too fond of (because of the background music during the H scene…don’t ask. XD;)

But yea that was the first bl cd i have ever listened to. Back then i didn’t expect H scenes in dramas. I was naive so when i listen to this my face became so red. XD;

Hehe… dramatic orchestra music :D Ah~ I didn’t like Chiba Susumu’s uke voice in the Hyakujitsu no Bara drama CD but there were ukes he voiced in other works that I enjoyed. But he definitely didn’t come across to me as a cutsy uke kekeke. Hmm, I’ve not heard oujisama level … I should give it a try ^^

Chiba! I love his ukes and semes! I remember him and paku romi from oujisama level drama cds(first bl drama cd i ever listened too) I really loved there acting in it, it fitted the characters. They had both of them switch roles are at least from what i could tell. So i think i don’t mind either role he plays but i lean more towards his uke roles. Becasue it was my frist time hearing his voice and the character he played in this drama which gave off a cutesy impression, i think of chiba as cutsy uke now. XD

Yep, I also like the story cos I find that their relationship is believable :) and I agree with you on the non-con. This is one of the few manga that depicts rape as the terrible and painful thing it really is. *_*

Ah~ must save up… must save up… and pray for Sale and discounts :P
